I tried this test with 16 cm. Zebra pots and found that they didn't change the performance much. These new HighBoy sticks are not at all needed for regular use, but for large diameter cookware they are the bomb!

Always love my fire box stoves, the regular and the nano. I just use them at home on my patio so I don’t hav3 to heat up the house in the summer. I have a bbq grill but these are easier and less messy to use. Going camping soon and for sure will take with me. Very interesting to see the difference in flame depending on the oxygen draw. Thanks for posting.

That small mod to the sticks makes a big difference for cooking. Great test. The mod boiled faster and longer overall. Thanks for the video. Love the way you keep finding ways to improve the stove

I figured with the air flow it would burn hotter and in turn it would burn faster but wow! That's pretty impressive for the amount of water you boiled. Good thing is, you could also keep feeding the fire if need be. Truly impressive. You never stop amazing me with this stove man

I have the older Firebox, one without the two openings to stick the sticks in, will that work with the new Big boy fire stick?
Yes! They will work the same in G1 Stoves!
