This made me emotional seeing a man and his beautiful family living in a very natural and honest way. I’m only 18 but I wish for this to be what me and my family go do. Great videos and products. The relationship does seem very healthy, the food tho on the other hand... not so much :) The bacon and amount of butter you had took away from any of the healthy foods you did eat.

bob, I don't think they were claiming any of this was health food. However, as long as you stay active, which it's apparent this family does, you can handle extra fat and sodium in your diet.

My dad was an avid outdoorsman. I remember driving into the wilderness surrounding Shasta mountain on the weekends in his 1980 Toyota. It was one of most cherished memories I have of him. When I have kids, I want to make the same memories with them. I miss my dad. He was a great man and an amazing father.

My Dad took all five of us kids and Mom on all our annual camping trips. Dad was a good provider and father to all his kids. Thus, all of us kids grew up loving the great out of doors. Likewise, I think your kids will love and care for our great outdoors and wilderness. We love what you do. Keep it up.

Ever considered allowing customers to submit their vids to you? You could show clips of other people using your stoves all over the place. Maybe even make a video contest with a prize! Could be fun. I'd also love to see different ways in which people use their fireboxes.

Hi Steve. Just subscribed, never really been camping in my life, not many places in the UK where I live that I can, and with a 1 and 5yo it's hard. My wife's also not overly keen! Really love watching you and your beautiful family having a great time in a great country. TheRoflbear mark...me and my family have just started camping again. We had a disastrous attempt a few years ago and it put us off. But we had a test camp in derbyshire couple weekends ago and loved it. So we have bought a new tent and gear and going again this weekend for two nights...again in july...then scotland for a week in august. We want to get away for at least 2 nights at least once a month!

You could perhaps try the New Forest, near the South coast. Try a semi wild camp site, like Hurst View, near Lymington, which is right on the coast, just to convince the wife and build her confidence. Some nice walks there also.

Do vegans eat the trees when they go camping?
I don't know, I haven't camped with any vegans yet. I think it will be a challenge to feed them though.
They will swim in the lake and filter the algae through their teeth.
we eat berries, mushrooms, bugs, and nuts.

This has got to be the best video ive seen on youtube for 2017. So many of my memories revolve around using my firebox. I own two regualar ones and one firebox mini, these products can bring people together. I'm gonna buy one of your kits one of these days. I live in Vegas. I spent some time as a kid outdoors with another family very much like yours. That was back in the midwest. Always dreamed of doing the things you do with your family. Ever since I was a kid. Now that I live in Nevada. I try to make up for lost time whenever I can. You have all the gadgets to make camping life fun and easy. The blueberry pancakes, roast beef and tacos looked awesome. Trout skin tends to be very mild and adds flavor so I would have left it on the fish.
My kids don't like it with the skin on it so I usually take it off. But I will leave it on sometimes. Just depends on the situation.
Well now I'm hungry as hell. All the food you've made looks amazing!

You're so resourceful. Most of us would worry about portable LPG, induction cooktop, power connection, hook ups, etc. You just carry a bag full of charcoal, a rudimentary stove and a cigarette lighter. It is hard to believe that you make lunch, dinner and coffee for four this way. Thanks, and have a good time.

Wow, you can take so much more useful stuff with you compared to backpacking. I really appreciate that. The only time I can take a little more than usual is with my bike. Unfortunalety I don´t have a camper van but I loved the VW T3 transporter I had 10 years ago.
