What a cool little boat. I would love to have a Montgomery 17 one day. Not very common here in the southeastern US. Really enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing!
well made thought out little boat, when builder goes the extra mile on the overlapped plank effect on the hull wich takes lots of time setting up the slug/mould ,you know they looking to make a good boat
Ever thought of doing a video on how you find these great fixer upper's? I would love to find a project boat like the ones I see you working on. Most are in decent shape but do need work. I assume you are getting them at a good price also to enable to work on them and then resell. I would not be looking to resell, but would enjoy down sizing from my Venture Newport 23 to something easier to launch and trailer. Would love to know how you go about finding these boats! Great channel, enjoy your work.
They just seem to find me Lol I have to get a pretty good deal (sometimes free) to be worth the time for sure. Some I pay a good bit for if I feel good about resale (like the Com-Pac 16) There is a Com-Pac 16-3 in Hayes VA right now that needs inside redone but otherwise not bad. I usually make an offer on such a boat and sometimes they accept Thanks for watching and happy new year!

Thanks for watching
I am looking forward to sailing it
I bet that you will love it. Rumored to sail like a larger boat. Probably the best boat that you will sail this year, unless you run into a Ranger 23.
I just happen to own a Ranger 23 on a trailer under my shelter. They are awesome!
Maybe I will do a video on it one day
Happy New Year!
They're great boats; used to have a Montgomery 15, which was great, too.
Thanks for watching!

Lucky You, I've looked for a number of years with no joy. Happy New Year to you and your people.

Thanks!
