This brings back some real memories, i learnt to fish on this stretch of the canal, from odiham to crookham. Not only learnt to fish, but the basics of watercraft. Also where i caught my first carp. Such a beautiful place, it will always have a place in my heart.
Your lucky to catch anything as the foreigners have eat nearly everything in their. My biggest carp was 37lb & my friend had a 41lb common but not now 🙁
Learnt to fish on this canal 35 yrs ago, lovely to see some of those places again - of course it wasn't for carp back then, mainly perch under the bridges :)
Well done Alan and Alfie you’ve created a masterpiece! Canals will always hold a special place in my heart fishing them when I was younger so I have enjoyed every second of this video!
I’m watching this on my narrowboat thinking it’s like watching my life the last 8 years, fishing the canals is the best, and catching a 30 is a fish of a lifetime, great video
Catching a 30 makes your year on every other water than a club water. I love movies where they acknowledge these things especially when it's a feel food story like this.
Hi Nash it’s me again the 11 year old my TH-cam channel is set up now I’m doing my first video in the next couple of days got some lovely new Nash scope GTL 8000 gold edition reels for Xmas well exited to use them 👊
Don't really like mud pigs, prefer the pike On lures. But good video lads, really good bit of info. Might get myself a little carp set up and have a go
If your blessed enough to have Alan's energy and effort rub off on you you'll be rewarded he is a machine well in Alan and Alfie on canal PBs and yet another top quality edit from the nash lads ❤❤❤❤
Yet again an awesome flick to watch thanks Alan and Alfi you guys are amazing anglers@Alanblair you should come to South Africa and catch some of these biggens here.
Thanks for keeping the spots nice and quiet chaps! I suppose you only give that courtesy to syndicate lakes or places your pals are fishing? Pair of W⚓️'s

@@OfficialNashTackleReally nice film 👍🏻 Despite living in Australia now for 23 years, aside from the fishing, watching these films helps to keeps me connected to my roots growing up, and fishing in the UK. The only thing a regret is not fishing whilst I was in the military used too be based not from Basingstoke plenty of historical venues in and around pirbright Windsor and aldershot but I'm slowly getting more carp venues in my angling now great watch awesome vid
It's a great return of fish for such a hard venue. Please can fish farmers get some carp in the rivers and secure the future of our sport... no point putting barbel and silvers in them any more... all far too polluted.
Happy Christmas to all at Nash. Once again guys top Watch just keep on making the best carp vids ever eh. Good to see Alan n Alfie back on screen doing what they do best. Weeks holiday n getting paid to fish 😅.. thanks guys
I’m lucky my in-laws own a marina on the kennett and avon in centre of Newbury no public can gain access to carp fish it so ent got to worry about Alan and his mob turning up
@ianglamb it's been going down hill the last 5 6 years no one wants to do anything their or even work for their spots best thing to do is tell no one show no one any pics they will steal your spot in a heartbeat
If your from the local area that honestly has been a go too spot for so many years now, it's no secret as such also back when I fished basey back 20 years ago it used to be the iron bridge with the flashes there by the airport, these slowly died off although I've had some decent perch from that area still. I'm surprised they didn't go alittle further up towards potters
People soon realise that the canal ain't that easy! Not just the fishing, heavy boat traffic most of the year! Canoeists with zero regard for anglers or where they are fishing! And lots of dog walkers and towpath users! It can be rewarding but is usually a pain in the arse😂😂
Yeah and all they have done now is show the whole world the bank on the lake is now no longer a good spot to fish because it is gonna get hammered and over fished now
@@lukedrew2043 its the whole locked up and off the rods them nash boys are clowns he lost his rod on film the whole telling hime to jump in and all that ffs locked up on rods other wise may of just fished loose clutch if get cut off fish only has rig to deal with not some overpriced tat reel and a garden cane to shift too Sorry but nash sort it out ffs
That's what these videos are all about. It's simple advertising and that's all. The Nash boys are exactly that...boys. if they're not selling fishing tackle then they're not getting paid so they're going to ring the Nash bell loud and clear.
