Jacques @Kustoo Slade is a guy that loves sneakers and creates TH-cam videos about them as well as other things. Nike and Jordan brand should get together using the space hippie program, and make a series of Jordan retros using the same materials. Given the speckled appearance of the space hippie they should call the series the cement shoes.

The collars mostly come from soccer. They have been commonly used ever since Nike introduced them in 2014. Collar cleats are extremely popular, and are the norm for high-end soccer shoes.
The second shoe looks very much like an indoor soccer shoe, that design is still relevant in 2020

For those interested, silhouette and style inspiration came from AF1s, Converse Weapons and various 80’s bball silhouettes. As for concept, this was a golden era for adult, the spotlight (represented by the yellow material beaming throughout the shoe) was glowing and growing. Kept within the traditional Brazzers color scheme of course.

The weirdest and greatest shoe in my collection is the Nike air pressure. They're so absolutely insane and i love them.
Yeezy boost would be fire in the 70s, especially after the whole oriental influence. They look like ninja shoes, I can see Bruce Lee rocking them but can you picture Elvis wearing them lol

Nike Magista Obra indoor in orange is definitely a weird shoe but by far my favorite piece of footwear I’ve owned. I tour those things apart.

I assumed the socks on SBs and basketball shoes stemmed from Soccer shoes. I remember almost every cleat my friends in highschool had those added socks to them and they loved them!

The first time I saw the 2012 hyperdunks I was in awe. Someone had got them as a present and rocked them to the high school basketball tryouts. But even with the freshsst tech, you have to compete with the varsity team to get a spot. Neither of us made the team that year.
I think they got the idea from their soccor cleats. They are now a staple and people dont really think much about them either way. The thing with cleats though they are basically functional shoes, you wont wear them out on the street unlike basketball shoes.

The sock literally does nothing on any shoe so far including soccer cleats, there is no approved disclaimer or any doctors saying it was or ever beneficial
Unfortunately the Koston didn't fly with the skate community. Which is very unfortunate, this shoe was ahead of it's time.
