I have a photo at 7:30 towards the rocks behind you. That was back in 2000 as I tee'd off Passo Croce Domini at the top towards Anfo where your road exits. The road up through Bagolino to Passo Croce Domini has an above ground cemetary on the left...had to take a pic.
Sadly the Passo Tre Croce Domini was closed when I was there and we had to take a 2 hour detour to hit this road. I wasn't going to miss this though as it was one of my must see roads
@@yagian I can fully understand that. I was heading over Gavia on my way from Tremosine sul Garda to Livigno. Don't get me going on Giro d'Italia for some under 23 practice session because we had to wait for 2h 45m on the north side of Gavia for these effing bicyclists that do not even pay gas taxes to use our roads.
Itinerario bellissimo, ma molto pericoloso, per la strada stretta, a tratti dissestata e sterrata, e senza parapetto. Adrenalina quindi a mille. Ho fatto recentemente il Gavia, che in alcuni tratti fa anche esso paura, ma questo passo è ancora più pauroso, non so se avrei il coraggio di farlo, specie pensando di poter incontrare una auto che occupi tutta la carreggiata. Complimenti comunque e un plauso alla musica, che è esaltante.

Yes. The gravel section is only about 1km long and isn't too rough or deep. Before I went I watched a video of guys on cruisers doing it. If you search for Anfo Ridge Road you'll find a lot more videos
