Here is one of my oldest arrangements (15 years old at least). After scouring through scores of Vivaldi concerti to find the one that John Williams played solo in a concert, I stumbled upon this gem.
We love to play this live, as the full texture really fills the hall with sound.

You guys are terrific. I say this as a 76 year old retired violinist who performed in professional symphony orchestras and string quartets for 50 years. You are both superb musicians.

@@zogzog1063 Wasted life as a lawyer? Well, I'm now in my 40s and set to start law school because I saw software engineering a waste. Perhaps we both have the "grass is greener" syndrome.

There are 9 dislikes on here, out of respect for the artist I will hold my tongue, and I understand everyone is afforded their opinion, but wtf. I’m flabbergasted by any dislikes and thoroughly amazed by the artists. Thank you for such a beautiful piece 🙏
Many people hate classical guitar as it sounds tacky and trite
I think most of the dislikes get clicked rather by accident than with a hateful intend. I noticed that when I came back to a video I always liked and saw that I somehow downvoted it without even knowing how I did it. Guess it happened on my phone with my clumsy fingers... So no big deal
I am seriously interested in reasons for those dislikes? Is it maybe purism? Like, 'how dare you play my violin concerto on a guitar' ?

I have waited and waited before I would make a comment. not wanting to repeat the many other praises that are made and when it comes to a certain piece of music everyone has and opinion or their favorite that they feel is the finest thing they have ever herd. sometimes I wonder if music is really universal in the way its peaks to the heart. likes are certainly not universal. when Ihear music I can not help but see patterns and geomitric designs and at times what I see is sublime in this piece there are places that the notes fall from the sky when you both make these glorious cascading scales together its the most beautiful thing I have ever herd from the guitar like jewls raining down . few musician are willing to let another play in sync you both value the end prouduct of whats possible together. again I still am lost for words unable to say how wonderful it sounds. and I was not fan of this kind of classical music It has surly elevated it far above its original composition . and one final word of praise for not even one of those Inferno sounds of screech from the finger slideing upon the string. something nearly impossible to do. now I will go away for this place is one Im unworthy to offer anything meaningfull thank you

I play the classical guitar, I even played duos with my brother so I know what I am talking about....what you guys do is simply surreal! It become nearly an obsession for me to listen to you almost every day and I wish I can see everyday a new clip on youtube! :) Simply unbelievable technique, sound and interpretation! Breathtaking! I thought "Oh no, not another Vivaldi transcription" and decided to give it a couple of minutes. I've now listened to it FIVE TIMES. Absolutely stunning, guys. I was very interested in the use of a capo - not often seen in classical guitar recitals - but I can see why you used it. Great! I've subscribed. I'm hooked. 42 dislikes? Huh?
Whats wrong with Vivaldi? Plus, to my recollection, this is the only Vivaldi transcription they have done.
Magnificent. Interpretation, dynamics, synchronicity...all round artistry...just magnificent.
Beautiful arrangement and rendition. Superb nuances. The recording work is also excellent.
This is a good example of why Bach thought Vivaldi was a genius. Played by two geniuses.

Classical guitarists never use sheet music because it’s impossible for us because one note can be found in different positions unlike the piano where each note has a fixed spot

I have to qualify your statement by saying “alive”. The best duo alive. I’m enjoying the virtuosity of this duo as much as I had when Dickey Betts played with the late Duane Allman. Who were just as accomplished in their musical genre as these two are in theirs.

This was absolutely beautiful and the quality and detail of the paying is superb. The arrangement is brilliant. I wouldn't have ever known this wasn't written for two guitars if I hadn't read it. Just extraordinary. The slow movement was magic. Thank you.

What I really like with classical music is that it expresses "High spiritual value" such thing that does not exists so often in pop rock.
Nights in White Satin. Dust in the Wind. Stairway to Heaven. Shine on You Crazy Diamond & Wish You Were Here & Time. Lay Down. And so on, and so on. Look, I'm not dissing "classical" music, but "pop rock" also has something to offer.

Wow! You guys got some ENSEMBLE! It's really exciting to hear you guys playing together so accurately! It's maybe because I'm trained as an orchestral musician. It's really hard to get 90 folks to play together as one, and I know the INDIVIDUAL discipline required in that. I see that orchestral discipline in your (plural) playing. Bravo.
I keep expecting some slip up...especially for instance in places like 1:57. When musicians start doing dynamic swells like this, the timing always gets off at least a little. Bravo again.
