I apologize for my absence from my channel as of late. In July I became severely ill from black mold toxicity which ended up with us having to abandon our apartment and lose everything in the process down to the clothes on our back. I'm now settled in a new place but the neurological effects are still effecting me so going forward it will be a challenge to be as productive as I have been on this channel. The hope is that with time those effects will wear off but there is no time table and some don't recover. With that said if you'd like to help support not only the channel but my life consider using the links in the description to make your purchase. This is my sole income now and every dollar counts. Thank you.
I don't understand how more companies don't have lift up + 3/4/5D armrests... It's such a no brainer, especially for musicians who want to play and record guitar at their PC.
@7:33 When they have a stipulation in the warranty that involves you advertising for them or posting reviews (the later is actually illegal), That's a Massive redflag.
My absolute biggest problem with this chair is, that when you recline the Armrests are pointing upwards... This way you cant recline and work on a keyboard the same time...
Hi there, thanks for the review! I noticed you still recommended the SecretLab as the best gaming chair. How do these two chairs compare? Do you have a favourite ergonomic chair? The SecretLab and the Hinomi seem to take different approaches to ergonomics.
They definitely take different approaches and it's hard to say which one may be best for you as everyone is different. I've tried everything from gaming chairs to Herman Miller Embodys and at the end of the day use my Secretlab as my daily seat. That doesn't mean it'll work for you though, I'd try dealing with a brand that offers a free return period if possible before trying chairs that make you pay return shipping.
@@netjens idk how big Jacob is but I have noticed that larger people do love secret lab chairs as their daily. I also think they sit flat and a little hard.
Thanks for the video! I’m curious if anyone has experienced the seat mesh becoming loose after a year or more of use. Over the past decade, I’ve bought several mesh chairs, but all of them lost their seat mesh tightness after about a year, ending up saggy. To be fair, none of those chairs were priced like the HINOMI-the most expensive was around $250. I'm considering this chair, but I want to know if it will eventually have the same issue. I should also mention that I have two herniated discs at L3 and L4, so seat support is really important for me.
The lumbar support is way to aggressive even at the lowest setting. Everyone I know who bought this chair returned it for the same reason. Hinomi will offer you 100$ to keep it if you ask to for a refund
Just got this chair and totally agree that the lumbar support is way too aggressive …who the hell designed this - I bet a lot of these chairs are returned due to this retarded design …. Tbh Id love a hack to fix this because I like the chair otherwise; also the headrest is a bit too forward even at its lowest setting … argh
i just tested the chair in a showroom in paris, and i really like the lumbar support, i like to be deep il my chair so it depends from a person to another, people have to test it
Price is outrageous but it's so nice to see a gaming chair company implement fold up armrests. Such a no brainer feature NO companies implement especially for guitar players. We game too!
Thanks for a nice and honest review. I've been thinking about new chair and desk for a while. There're these ethalons like Herman Miller but I keep on asking is somethink like Hinomi H1 Pro isn't actually enough.
I think it would be. Everyone is different so it's hard to know what's going to work for each individual. I tried a Logitech Embody a while back and even that chair with all it's endless positive reviews wasn't a keeper for me. Definitely go with a brand that offers a solid return policy just in case.
Hi I would like to check the neck support how it is. I really hate if it pushes your neck forward. I am short 5’2 and not sure if this will be a problem. It’s like in the plane, the seats are pushing your neck forward. If it does, can it be adjusted? And how? Thank you! Been searching for an ergonomic chair that I wanted to invest in.
Hope you will recover soon. Mould is deadly. Thank you for the review of the Hinomi H1 Pro chair. I went to the showroom in Singapore to try the chair and it was a terrible experience, It is mind-bogglingly how bad the service was. I wanted to try the different chairs, the customer service person just stood there like a statue while we tried the chairs. He didn't bother explaining the different chairs' functions and was most unhelpful. All he did was tell us to order online??? Your review is Top-notch and you don't even work for Hinomi! I would never buy a Hinomi chair. I rather buy from OKAMURA or Herman Miller.
Hi, could you tell me about the wheels? When you sit, does it lock (somewhat) the wheels. I have a hardwood floor that is slightly slanted (old building) and I don't want it to roll backwards when I sit in it
It doesn't lock but it doesn't roll easily either, I guess depending on how much of a slant we're talking any chair without locking rollerblade style wheels could be an issue
Hello, thank you so much for such a great review. I was just wondering if maybe you can give a suggestion about which size to get. My height is 510 so I’m right in the middle of either buying the standard or the taller version. Which one would you suggest?
The lumber support is just way too firm and forward which hurt my back within minutes, even when getting up. I love everything else about this chair but I regret my purchase. I bought a soft gel cushion for the back to minimize the pressure of the lumbar support, hopefully this will fix it.
@@mikeworkman1759 I have to be honest, I got used to it, it doesn't hurt or feel bad anymore and I don't particularly have back pain. Maybe it used to hurt my back at the beginning because I had a bad posture the whole time and it fixed it? I barely used the gel cushion, it was annoying to put back every time.
Thanks for the review. It’s hard trying to figure out which chair to buy without actually sitting in it but the return policy and ease of assembly might make me try it out.
The adjustable armrests has me hooked. I found this video because this is what im looking for in a chair. Just wanted to find out if it was a pos or not. Ya never know. Appreciate the review
Your ergonomics are messed up. Your desk is too high. You should consider lowering it to a natural sloping position and then raise your monitor up to stay level with your head. The way your sitting isn't allowing your shoulders to relax completely. Which is probably also why you feel so much pressure on the arm rests.
This chair is not confortable at all its like sitting on a rock also you cant return the chair because you cant dismantle the chair so its big scam for me i loose 450euro 😢@@Thelinkersss

I had mine for about a year now, I find it very helpful with someone who suffers with L5 S1 disc problems.
Glad to hear it's working out for you, I share your disc issues, getting old is fun huh?

Yeah I understand what you mean. This is fixed by adjusting the height of the backrest. New chairs take a while for the body to get use to.

Off topic. What frame per sec do you have your camera set to and what MM is the lens? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the review. I was looking at this and the Sihoo Doro.
is the mesh getting softer after a while? i have the hinomi h1 pro gaming
i got this one because i'm playing guitar and its only one normal erganomic chair who have an option with lifting armrests
Been really thinking about pulling the trigger on this. As a guitar player with rotator cuff tendonitis keeping good posture is a big concern for me!
Of all the office chairs I've tried I can absolutely recommend this one especially for your scenario. Bonus points should you use my link!
It's a good chair, I had mine for a year. Mind that the body will take a few weeks to get use to new seating position.

yes
There is no warranty on the mesh and armrests 12 yrs on certain parts and 7yrs on others.

Seat too narrow, too bad. I don't understand this choice. It's one of the narrowest on the market! So stupid....
Developped in Singapore by asians, who for the majority are quite slim. Hence the design.
