I want to point out that the segment about The Satanic Temple is wildly inaccurate. It shouldn't be on this list of cults, as it isn't a cult in the slightest. Cults prey on those who are down in life and feel lost. I can understand why people would join and i feel for those who suffered alot once they joined. I remember watching a documentary about a cult im not sure the name but they would SA the women and children. It was disgusting and in the documentary it was showing those who escaped and are trying to live normal lives.
I know that a handful of years ago, France passed a law to make sure Scientology was recategorized as a cult, preventing them from applying for lucrative tax-free church status. Somehow the US is too afraid to stand up to this hellacious motley crew.
And do not believe thar LaVey/Satanic church doesn't hurt people. They have always performed human sacrifices. If you're not familiar with the Groves, that area around SF has the highest instance of missing kids and adults and rarely are any of them found.
What I found that was so weird that Scientology now through Farrakhan owns a portion of the noi or the Nation of Islam. So now when you read some of the newer material coming from the Nation of Islam it has the language of Dianetics.
Lucifer is a different person from Beezlbub they are two different entities. So many people seem to forget that even though cast out Lucifer is STILL a ARCHANGEL

As for whether Scientology is a religion or a cult, they are one and the same. People associate "Religion" with God but in Matthew, Jesus says He doesn't like religion. Religion just means a "thought process" and can include God, albeit wrong but they are usually void of God. Satanism, Evolution and all these mentioned can all be classified as Religions. The political benefit of claiming to be a religion grants them tax-exempt status.

A cult generally has a leader or prophet that claims to get messages from God or knows God's mind and directs the group toward that using manipulation. This is exactly what the various sects of Christianity do. Just like every other cult and religion member you think your beliefs are the only real ones and discount all others.
