This is one of my favorite Hitchcock movies. I love how he built the suspense by having the audience trail along with the kid and his special package. Then, what does Hitchcock do, he throws in an innocent puppy about to be projected to the other side with the kid. Gut wrenching move. Great stuff!
Even poor black & white films should be seen as they were made. To colorize any movie is dreadful, but colorizing the work of a great artist is really abominable.
Hitchcocks cameo was after the lights came on in front of the movie theater looking up towards the sky as he crosses in front of the crowd. Crafty devil.
