- In this video, I show you various methods on how to tame a Carnotaurus. They really aren't too bad, with the exception of the ones who hang out around the Yutyrannus, but, can you really count those? I mean, I guess YOU could, but I don't really talk about those except in passing. Anyways, they are easily trapped or outrun, so there isn't too much to taming them.
You wake up in the middle of nowhere, maybe it's a beach, a mountain, a forest, or a jungle, but it is no place that you have known. There is a strange device implanted into your arm. Welcome to the ark. The place where long extinct creatures eat you while you feebly try to survive. This series is my attempt to show you little things that will help you flourish.

I wanted a carno so bad before but now i have a quetzal spino rex diplocaulus tepejara baryonyx and even a carno my most useful unit is tapejara and therizino
but now i want a giga so bad to kill the alpha rex i just saw in that small island im mobile it's often called carno island and i encounter titanosaurs there and also where i found an alpha rex however no giga cuz they live in mountains i live near the griffin mountain

I've got one stomping around the base I just finished fortifying all the surfaces on... I haven't seen it's level. I'm not sure I've got enough tranqs or beef to even consider taming it. This was helpful.

heres a suggestion to make the taming guides a bit better: show the places where the specific species spawns at and how high the spawn chances are, would be especially helpful when it comes to more rare creatures.
Try the wiki. There are 'heatmaps' of each map that show the probability of where a particular creature can spawn.

i always make a stone pillar 3 or 4 stack high and climb itu with cheap wooden ladder to tame a dangerous low level dino like Therizin, Carno, or raptor. Also because pteranodon is relatively easy to tame, once i got the saddle engram, i can use it to land on top of a giant boulder and shoot down on them safely
Landing on a giant boulder is exactly what I do!

@@Flame_Hawk I usually see them on the south side of the map along the rivers terrorizing the herbivores and carnivores alike. Just saw a lv 50 on the hill on 74, 45 and a lv 80 along the beach at 84, 65.

You can't put ramps on door frames without a foundation... unless the ones you used are slooped roof pieces!!

Just caught this guy about an hour ago.
I just started playing this game and about 10 minutes after i spawn i look at all dino running and i thought i aggroed them "hm.. So they run when they see you?" And when i look back i saw carno for a split second till it all turned black, not gonna lie, i screamed like a little girl

@@KolyaBennett an average wooden doorway has around 10k hp . The carno must be heavily high level to break something like in seconds.

I have a strong belief the Carno should be an earlier tame and Carnos r only good at end game if they r Alpha
You cannot tame an Alpha Dino.

I think a high level carno can do a lot
I have only been playing ark for a few days and just got a wood base with a stone wall up around it and the next ark day a carno showed up. Sadly i am not prepared and its taking forever to tame it with just raw meat and fish.
I know this is an old video, but I found one giant car no lvl 6 and the tame was easy as hell
The tame wasnt easy for me , it was taming slowly + there was a therizino near that somehow didnt see me
I tamed a carno by going in the water and shooting it with those tranq arrows.

Easy thing I did was get on a cliff or a place where dinos couldn't climb up on peppered it with traqs
One time I trapped a carno in a stone box three walls high and he climbed his way out

Taming guides can you please do Crystal wyvern I keep failed every time
Just build a trap with 3 behemoth gateways and 2 behemoth gates, lure the crystal Wyvern in, and then pelt it with tranq ammo, collect primal crystals from it (higher level ones give more primal crystals) and wait until it wakes up and then feed it primal crystals (it’s aggression will be reset after it wakes up) until it’s tamed.

Forest near a beach (unlikely to spawn , even if it did 1 - 2 only probably)

(Infested with spino , sarco , raptors and theri's)

I tranq it while it was hunting a parasaur. Thanks parasaur tht died for me. Luckily the Para have a lot of health if not i would have to probably kill the Carno.

Tecorsuh why do you always recommend raptors couldn't you use an equus
The way I tame all my big Dino’s is by makin them chase me to my base and just shoot them while they beat up the wall lol they try to run but I chase them down.
I found a carno fighting a diplo but it took 0 damage only the diplo did so I tranqed the carno with crossbow I’m not there yet but I got it I’m feeding it now
