Watched your cleaning shoe TH-cam video, noticed you were using acetone with a old towel, please remove that towel and do not leave it piled up on your station, just like stain rags and mineral spirits, it might not have caught fire so far, but it is a possibility, I have seen some of my customers burning their garage down because of mineral spirit rags, then I just watched you use the lighter on a shoe to get rid of the nylon hairs, please beware of using acetone and then lighter on the same shoes, acetone is highly flammable! I happened to have a box of alcohol swabs (used to sterilize skin before injections) and found they are great for removing sticker residue on all kinds of things. I also use Dollar General /Dollar Tree yellow AWESOME cleaner on midsoles after learning about it from Drew Profit Monsters, for me it works better than acetone on midsoles, particularly Vans.

Every see a Major League Baseball player with dirty shoes?? Lol nope because we use scrubbing bubbles and it’s truly the best shoes cleaner. We also use the method of dry rub with a clean towel.
I think Im the only one that gets unlucky with hair in the shoes. Lint brush barely touches it. I actually started using duct tape because it will pull up more. Interesting stuff, i use small flathead screw driver its good get the lines but also to pry up rocks and stuff. Use 91% rubbing alcohol or magic eraser for ink. Cleaning up the mesh part of shoes has been biggest challenge.
Can you please post a video on how you clean the upper on a sneaker or vans. I could not find anything about cleaning the upper in this video. I know you clean a upper on a white sneaker in another video, but what if the upper is not white?

Now I have to ask, your a YT creator (me too probably the worst ever haha), you have to go source your products (same....or as I say, "Yay Shopping!"), you have to prep and clean your products for re-sale (I have to repair and restore my products)...I repair and sell electronics ...from iPhones to laptops and game consoles, now finally my HUGE question. How do you maintain a smooth workflow and have time to do anything else for instance personally I have no time for YT vids anymore....I've watched some of the tools you impliment to assist in a smooth workflow such as the SteamDeck which is just wonderful btw (Those who haven't watched that video should!!!)...anyways still I incorporate many of your tools yet still find no time for well ...anything. Any suggestions or perhaps a look into your daily workflow would be just wonderful as I feel I'm just letting life pass me by. Thanks.

I wish I realized sooner to only pick up shoes requiring minimal work!!! That my friend is the key!!! A pr of Jordans @ a good price may not be worth the TIME/EFFORT/TOOLS required to clean...I HATE GW INK on shoe bottoms...thanx for the "add a # hack" going into full effect immediately!!!
I def need to get the smaller electric drill, I'm using the brush (after seeing your video) on my drill since I already had it, and man it's HEAVY to hold long enough for cleaning.
So I was using the Dawn powerwash/Mr Clean Freak method amd although it does a great job cleaning the shoes, it just makes the shoes smell odd to me. Like the smell is super strong and doesn't seem to go away.
Is there ever a situation when you wash shoes in the washing machine? I mean I guess not since you didn’t mention it lol but say the tops are dingy how do you handle that?
Great tips but I was hoping you would cover yellowing outer rim soles. I have a pair of Air Force ones to clean. They are yellowed on the bottom rubber rim. Any tips before I list & sell them? Sara 152shopgirl
I don’t bother with it, it’s an extensive process. I’d list them as is. But if you’d like to fix them, there’s plenty of videos on here from other people
Great video, on the shoe racks you use have you ever had them collapse? I used to use the racks like what you use but they kept collapsing on me and I would have a huge mess to clean up and it would take me away from other work.
That’s possible. Maybe Dalton or RNZY have a purchase link in one of their videos to the ones they use. Best of luck. I personally use the shelf w/bins method
Yes I have had them collapse twice, but they were cheaper ones. I upgraded all my shelving to the shelves that I have linked in this video and they are very sturdy when zip tied together and have had no issues with them, even being stacked 13 shelves high

Great video, I also keep extra shoe laces and insoles that need them. Also I have a steamer just in case to sanitize the insoles of the shoes.

I assume you can only use scrubbing bubbles with certain material right? Would it work on colored mesh material without ruining it?

You can use that heat gun in the video to melt it and use the pic to get it out
Ice can help. Also cooking oil. Learned these after my dog had a big gob of gum stuck in her pad. The oil worked the best

I have seen some use zip ties as a solution to the collapsing shoe racks. Hope that helps.

I use goo gone to remove permanent marker on the bottom of shoes-works almost every time.
Same. Usually, I mark over the price with a dry erase marker first. 98% success. Sharpie for the other 2%.
