I had a art teacher just like this, forced everyone to call him "Doctor" after he got his doctorate and would ignore you until you called him "Doctor"
I had a professor at a community college, two actually who had doctrines and were not rude or snooty if you didn’t call them Drs. They were the greatest and most respected teachers at that college. And we’re always in high demand from the students. I’m sorry you had to experience that.

Now when I watch Rude English Gentlemen videos, I pretend I’m Nymphodora Tonks bothering dear Uncle Lu at his day job. The Death Eater initiation was especially fun.
