Ah man, this sounds so vibrant and exciting! The instrumentation and arrangement just make for a radical listening experience that feels really fitting for the Sonic series in general and the heroic theming of the piece. Ro did a phenomenal job with the guitar recordings, and I love the harmonization with the dual guitar tracks - honestly, I'm such a sucker for duets that play in tandem with synchronized note bends and the like - there's just something so heartfelt about it. And man, the variety of techniques and effects used with the guitar parts is wild. Of course, your mixing really brought the guitar to the next level, and it fits in with the rest of the tracks seamlessly! For real, you have a remarkable ability to integrate all kinds of outside parts into your mixes, whether it be vocals, recorded playing, or your collaborators' digital contributions. The supporting instrumentation here just blows me away. I love the bright, and crystal-like tines that you've paired with the lead in the more uplifting sections (like at 0:58) - it sounds so cheery and fun! And the use of accordion (or musette?) is a really unexpected and eclectic detail, and it adds a new flavor that works incredibly well in tandem with the electric-guitar-driven mix. I wouldn't have expected such a combination, but the creative risk really pays off here! And ooh, that bass is just stellar! It's perfectly balanced, deep, and warm. Well done! And wow, the video editing here is excellent! I love how you've included footage of Ro shredding, and the Sonic Heroes on the screen is a great touch! You guys are really attentive to even the most minor details! The inclusion of in-game footage makes for an engaging visual, and that clip at the end, was as @SteelDragon8 so aptly put it... "TIGHT!" Clearly, Sonic has some glowing feedback to give on this remix, and I couldn't agree more! By the way, I wanted to mention that I really enjoyed - and still enjoy! - your Shroom Ridge remix. This easily takes the cake as my new favorite multi-genre remix; I couldn't agree more with you that the mixture of synth & guitars actually do sound quite pleasing to the ears! I can't stress enough how important is it that no matter what sounds are used in the final mix-each sound needs to have its own space, that's actually why I chose to keep this more guitar-driven & have synths as background because those frequencies take up a lot of the same area on the spectrum...as I always say, "less is more" when it comes to mixing!! I was super glad Ro sent me footage of him playing, it provides a more personal feel when watching being able to actually see the instrument in use!! That's something I look up to in true instrumentalists, and learning how to play and instrument in a live setting is something I hope to achieve, alas until that day, I'll still be hiding behind my MIDI 😅 Thank you as always - I can't stand when YT makes mistakes with comments sometimes, but rest assured, I'm grateful you enjoyed the Shroom Ridge remix!! 😎

Your reiteration of "less is more" actually prompted me to revisit my current project with that mindset and work on cleaning up and cutting down needless parts of existing tracks (as opposed to adding things, which I'm prone to do). I love me some dense arrangements, but I agree that loading up a mix with dozens of different supporting parts - even if they're interesting and resonate well - can actually hinder the overall sound. A part that I thought was initially a bit on the sparse side has actually become one of my favorites, because none of the details are masked. I need to really internalize this mindset, as well, and I really appreciate the advice! :) Thanks again, and I'll have to take note of the suggestion that @GlitchmanVGM gave for future comments, so they won't get lost to the void...😅

Funny how Sonic Generations was supposed to make you have nostalgia for all the different Sonic games, but since it's one of my first Sonic games, it's nostalgia for Generations that this invokes in me.
That’s true! I was one of those that played generations for the nostalgia…so many good levels of past games!! But I could definitely understand Generations being the nostalgic game for some!
