My birthday is that same day that film came out I was 9 when I watched it in theaters for me and my twin bro's birthday
Sega & Paramount this was a great movie for kids and adults. This movie presented a good version of Sonic and his personality . You feel for Sonic and how he feels alone and wants friends. I have a kid and i am happy to share a character from my childhood with my kid. I can't wait for Sonic 2 and thank you for this amazing song. I saw kids dancing to this song at the end of the movie and they were having fun . Great work guys.

Eric Reid The scenes got changed cause when the design changed the proportions changed. Sonic wasn't as tall or skinny anymore so some scenes were changed to look better

Holy shit, 1,000 likes and counting.....never had *THIS* amount before......thanks, everyone. 👍 And *HEY!* I watched the Sonic movie yesterday, and it was *way past cool.* It's now my most favorite movie of all time. Complete 10/10. The action scenes were enjoyable (just like in the games, Sonic can most certainly GO FAST), the movie was incredibly funny (especially with Jim Carrey, he is *LITERALLY* Robotnik/Eggman), and the nostalgia.....the *NOSTALGIA* was off the charts! There were *SOOOOOOOOOOOOO* many references to various Sonic games & themes! And I won't spoil the movie for you (in terms of plot, of course), but seriously......the opening of the movie? Absolutely phenomenal......the Rings replacing the stars (THE SOUND EFFECT WHEN YOU COLLECT RINGS IS THERE, just like in the games). An extended showing of many Sonic games being played (like the original Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Generations, etc), front & center (with many Sega properties surrounding the Sonic gameplay). The gameplay zooming out to form the word.....Sega. And, just like the classic Genesis titles, I heard *"SEGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"* being said. And yes, this nostalgic music video "Speed Me Up" *IS* the end credits theme, as me (and others) have predicted. So heartfelt.....what I'm saying is.....guys, go watch Sonic The Hedgehog. It'll be worth your while, and the movie is a true love letter to Sonic fans around the world, in my book.

You’re so worried over an animation, you must have all the time in your life to notice every detail.. when I saw the end I just said “hmm.. well it’s over” and turned off the tv and moved on with my life. man, if you only saw what animations looked before the 2000s you wouldn’t survived a day.

Actually, it was released at the dawn of the pandemic. So, it wasn't so nostalgic.
Whenever I hear this song, I remember, on the 14th in theaters, at the end of the movie, leaving the credits and coming to the Tails scene, I remember leaving the movie theater and remembering this wonderful movie, this song especially, brings me good memories of that opening day, thanks for creating this, it's beautiful to review this song and think it's been 2 years. 💙
