- By this point, the Scraparok has gone a little beyond the budget build we started with...so why not go full send and give it a extra locking diff on the front!
After testing them out on our V10 Touareg, we decided to add the Harrop E-Locker front diff into our overlanding Amarok, to give it that extra hand in sticky situations! 💪

Nice bit of gear there Rob it would be an expensive conversion that's for sure but any real bidding green laner it would be essential 👍🏻
Thanks, It's not cheap but most locking diff conversions aren't. It's definitely made a considerable improvement to the off road capabilities so worth it for anyone pushing these to the extremes or wanting extra reassurance when overlanding.

Nah, last time I did that the bastard didn't want to go back!@@DarksideDevelopmentsBeing serious, I can obviously get the Harrop stuff locally and engineer the spacer, etc, etc, but I think it would be a good option for the Aussie and possibly the South African markets if you supplied part or all of the kit.
Haha, We can supply the shims, seals and bearings no problem. We also have a 4.3 diff on the way from UAE so will have measurements for all spacers required we can then potentially offer a spacer package and ring gear exchange.
