- This is the new 2021 Nissan Altima SR! This Altima SR comes in brilliant silver metallic on black sport cloth interior. The powertrain consists of a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engine mated to a CVT.
Standard features of this Altima SR include Bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and Apple CarPlay. Options include a power sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and 19” aluminum wheels.

Best thing I love about this car is if u forget your keys inside and u wanna lock the door with the door button it indicates to you and doesn’t close till you get your keys out I mean how awesome is that 🙃

I have the 2021 Nissan Altima base model and I love it!!! It rides like a dream, acceleration is amazing and so many compliments on the higher end look!
I am going from a 2017 Nissan Sentra to this 2021 Nissan Altima. You can definitely feel the difference in the drive. I am still getting use to all the features
This beautiful machine is a THRILL to drive. What a sweet ride. Worth every penny.
I love mine. Handles very well on the highway and very comfortable. Oh and they handle real well on the snow.

After owning a high mileage 2011 Subaru Outback for 2 years, I finally decided to get rid of it, and get a fresh out of the showroom 2021 Nissan Altima. That old Subaru cost me over $3000 in repairs in the first year and half of owning it, and since the last major repair, I've been scared of driving it. What's gonna next? The Head Gasket? Transmission? Something else? And then be without a car entirely? Honestly, I didn't want to wait and find out. My Nissan Dealership offered a compelling deal, and even though it's definitely gonna be more expensive, it is so nice to have my love for driving back, in a beautiful car that will last for hopefully the decade, and beyond.

Just bought a new 2021 sr love the car
These cars are awesome but just my taste, I happen to like them from the year 2016 to 2018 they are more spacious and the body style is in my opinion more aggressive but to each his own, very good car throughout the years.
I don’t know what Nissan is doing with thier CVT but the 2022 SR’s are not slow at all...is it the sport suspension or the tuning they did somewhere..very sensitive it just get up and goes..surprises you .. amazing on the highways...from what I understand the cvt is not that old and Nissan still trying to perfect it..and definitely getting better ,.. I wonder how many ppl gonna eat thier words once or if Nissan perfect this cvt to the fullest and becomes the best transmission in the future....

I rented the 2021 Altima during my trip to Los Angeles. The car really moves in traffic. It had more Torque than I thought. I never thought an Altima can catch up with an Maserati or BMW M4 on the freeway.

I have the 2016 base model and what I’m going to do after I finish college I’m going to upgrade to the awd sr my mom has the 17 sr but it’s front wheel drive
My son recently wrecked my 2018 Accord. If it ends up being totaled (probably is) think I’m giving the Altima a try. They are extremely similar cars

Nissans are extremely unreliable. I’d stay as far away from them as I can.

Does anyone who owns the 2021 Nissan Altima Platinum AWD finds it odd that the remote starter does not warm your seats or steering wheel until you start to drive the car. Just came back from the dealership and was told that this was very peculiar. I called Nissan and they said that no one had made a complain about that, thus, it would not trigger a recall. I hope that more people would contact Nissan regarding the malfunction of the remote starter.

Not really, but I wasn't really leaning back as much. It's definitely not like riding in the back of a long wheelbase Cadillac or something like that, but I didn't have issue.
Not sure why but it seems that they decreased passenger space in the 2020 and 2021 models while the models from the years 2016 to 2018 are more spacious

Hello. I just bought this car. I'm not in love with how dark it is inside at night. Do you know if there's a way to illuminate the buttons underneath the display and on the steering wheel?
Only thing you can light up is the gauge cluster and screen I believe. My girl had the same issue with hers, but she just turned the brightness up on the screens.

We tried applying for one of those and the dealership wanted $600/ monthly payments and so we just walked out. Then a week later we decided to trade our 2017 mirage g4 in for a brand new 2021 Mitsubishi mirage g4 Carbonite edition sedan. Best decision we ever made. We get 40+ mpg.

I got the base SR I guess with the 2.5 engine, it’s not the 2.0 I wanted but I love it and handles very well, been to orange hill restaurant and the valet guys liked it…. I will say it drives differently from my wife’s 2.5 SV or maybe it’s the seats but the 17 vs the 19 are different drive alone

@@mrzrrixgaming2738 the new 2023 has new and different features, the sr and sv are different as far as exterior goes, the inside I have “leather” and orange stitching, the 2.0 vc turbo has sunroof and same 19 inch wheels… Nissan calls the packages as technology packages and that will increased the Value of the car as well

I've got a 2021 altima with 30 miles and zero CVT issues. Idk what all the fuss is about.
30 miles, and no CVT issues ? Glad you got home from the dealership without any issues.
Give it one year.. I had my Altima for one year and the CVT tranmission went out. They fixed it because it was under warranty and the car didn't have much miles on it. I bought it brand new with 4 miles on it. 4 years later and car is still having transmission issues. They had to buy the car back from me. Also, there was a class action lawsuit with Nissan. Look it up!

Yeah my 2021 Altima is having cvt issues at less than 60k miles. It’ll finally give out after the warranty expires of course

Our local dealership wanted $600/month for that car. At that point we just walked out and got a very much better deal on a brand new 2021 Mitsubishi mirage g4 Carbonite edition sedan. We get 40+ mpg. You should look into it.

It doesn’t show the speed signs like my Sentra did while I was driving.
Yeah, that's my biggest gripe with this car. Doesn't have a compass either. Both of those things are available only on the SL, and Platinum trims, which have navigation built-in.

Compared to my 2015 v6 accord this thing has no pick up. Which is sad because the interior is nice and the seats are THE MOST comfortable seat I have ever sat in 10\10. But the power train is lacking. They need that VQ engine back in with a manual or 6 or 8 speed transmission.

IMHO it's a great transportation appliance for people who don't actually like cars. Lots of features. No synergy. Absolutely numb steering.

Yes, sorry. Hard to keep up with what has what these days. 😂😂😂 Some cars just have one or the other, some have both, and some have neither depending on trim. 😔 But yes, Apple CarPlay AND android auto in this one.

My daughter owned a 2011 Nissan Altima that the empty console caught on fire and burned the entire front seat area during the night in our driveway. Nissan corporation's response... "it's is older than 4 years so we are not legally obligated to investigate the cause." Lawyer said I would lose thousands trying to sue them for reimbursement and endangering my daughter's life. I WILL NEVER OWN A NISSAN AGAIN!

No you wrong I had 2008 Nissan Maxima it had 300,000 miles & would have still been driving it but an deer total it out You just got to change your transmission fluid every 70,000 miles

@@judahbiblehistoryisourhist5841 Don’t know about a maxima my wife has an Altima a 2014 .. first CVT went out at 62,000 miles second one brand new put in by A Nissan Dealer lasted 4,000 miles .. The third one now has 20,000 miles on it and I wouldn’t trust it to take a trip to save my life .. I could give you a list of everything else that’s been fixed..
