When you pulled the trailer up to the back of your car I thought...OMG....we're gonna get a Mr Bean episode right here with your trailer taking off down the road with your new washing machine, you chasing it and the neighbours wandering if all Brits are like this.........lol
New to this channel so starting at the beginning…..it’s very compelling and I’m amazed you don’t swear on camera…..this will be me soon so I’m already learning about French plumbing , great work Marc 😂
There’s nothing better than watching someone doing the simplest of jobs and struggling. I think it’s because we’ve all been there. So frustrating but we manage to complete the task in the end. It’s like laughing at ourselves. Well done Marc
You Did manage to get it in by yourself! I'd drill a hole in the wall, shove the hose through, then pack it full of foam insulation. Add a drain pipe away from the house & call it a day! I was impressed with getting it into the house without help. 😎
LOL. Love it!!! So. Funny. Can't make this stuff up can you. Ya ought to put the hose out the window and stick it in a rain gutter to get away from the house. Just an idea.
Oh Marc just watching all the earlier episodes and what a lot of changes you have made to your house in such a short time. I wouldn't even know where to start with the washing machine. What a brilliant idea for getting it into your house. Hats off to you! Your videos are brilliant such a variety from day to day. Dave is a happy horse in his later years with you to befriend him. Thank you Marc I truly admire your courage starting over at 50. I wish you success with your new life in France. Florence from Scotland.
🙈 oh Marc! I have a cross between anxiety and hilarity as I watch you in your endeavours. I noticed your kitchen is back in the big room so I’m waiting to see if you have a new plan. It’s certainly an adventure watching your channel to see what you come up with next.
Having ADHD. Does make you think outside the box! But asking for help does not make you helpless! For moving heavy stuff I made a piece of wood with wheels under it. Worked great. 😊👍🏼😎are you sure this is not a comedy channel?
I know that you have now moved the washing machine but I would have turned it around so that the back was facing towards the sink and the waste pipe put in the sink, obviously fixed so that it doesn’t come away from the sink. That’s how my mother first used her washing machine when she advanced from a twin tub. The washing machine was also on special castors that were lockable so it could be moved around. Never mind.
Hi, you appear to be having fun there; maybe a good job not raining when you need to get lots dried :) Whereabouts roughly in Charente ? I wondered if the Charente was a good bit drier an area than the Vienne slightly to the East. cheers, Glenn
Ha..laughed my tits off when you said about "needing one of those things...a girlfriend" thank you, I don't laugh much at the moment, you are living my dream there ya know..
I feel really bad for you. There are so many wonder improvements you have done on your cottage...I guess it only normal you would have a slip up once in awhile.

You weren’t alone 🤣I just thought of how many times my hubster calls me ‘Mr. Bean’ Cheers
Bit late now but get a sack barrow to save your back in future. House across the road looks like it needs a gardener, know of any?

You could do with one of those 2 wheel hand trucks for shifting stuff. It will save your back muscles no end.

Oh dear, what an adventure, Marc. I couldn't help laughing, I know if I was doing it, I'd have probably flooded the whole house.
I recently repaired my outside tap. I gave up on that plastic tape. I used hemp string instead. It worked 💪.
You've got everything you need in that room apart from a toilet! Loving the process of watching you make a home.
