CHINESE FOOD FESTIVAL AT CRAWFORD INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

This trimester, the Foreign Languages Department has organized the first-of-its-kind Chinese Food Festival. This is an experience that will offer students as well as parents who would wish to attend, an opportunity to experience the Chinese Language and Culture in context.
The students will be exposed to a variety of fun and interactive activities; whose objective is to sensitize students to different cultures as well as foster appreciation for diversity. Some of the activities that they can look forward to include; Martial Arts performances (Wushu), Chinese calligraphy, Chinese Opera face painting (Jinju Caihui), Chinese songs (Mandarin students), Chopstick competitions (Kuaizi bisai), Chinese clothing (Hanfu) amongst others. The highlight of the event will be the exploration of the different Chinese dishes. There will be provision for the vegetarian option.
The event is set to take place on the 10th of October 2023 which will be on Huduma Day from 9:00 am- 1:00 pm.
Therefore, registration will be on the basis of first come first served. We will close registration as soon as we reach the target number. We encourage you to pay as soon as possible to secure your spot.
