The tricky thing is how to cut the leg tilt.There are a lot of videos of building a stool. You are the only one who show us how to set up very clear. Thanks for sharing.
No, those gaps where the stretchers attach to the legs are NOT due to clamping. They too needed a compound cut, and you did a single angle cut. Math! It’s a good thing!!!
Rule of thumb when you want a design like this start with a 10-15* bevel. That’s where most odd ball things like this fall into place. Saw horses for example are same range.. generally 15* so if trying to splay the legs then 10-15* is a good starting point
Few years ago I got into firearms and shooting. I started watching gun channels left and right. One of them was green light shooting. That was before TH-cam changed of course. I wondered what happen to some of those guys. Just recently I got into wood working. I’m glad to find you again doing great 🙏👍.

also what looks really good for tops on the stools are old beat up pallet wood pieces. simply glue two or so together and it gives it that really used look

Hi, thanks for video. I am only starting woodworking and now read a book about woodworking basics. Based on the book, because of season temperature changes, such stool top connection will destroy the whole structure or I misunderstood something?

Not sure what happened but I bought a Springfield Hellcat yesterday and seen your video about the Hellcat you got 2 months ago where you said you would review it later on. Started scanning your videos to see if I could find it and for some reason I'm seeing wood projects? When did you go from gun talk to how to make a corn hole /stool? To make things worse from the Hellcat video to this video you talk about olight flashlights and wood. No guns at all on your gun TH-cam channel?
I understand a mid-life crisis but figured you would buy a vette not start wood working projects lol.
TH-cam changed alot of rules to a point it made it difficult for him to make money off his channel. So he had to think of something new to do to continue making money. This wood work.
