This album is so full of memories to me. It was early 2012, I had just moved to a new city, in another state, all by myself. When I discovered them I played both albuns no stop. But the first one was and will always be my favorite.
Music is just fantastic.
Hector Rodrigues same. So many memories of a free time I had in my own life. New place, new college , new gears. Music saves souls and reminds them how they did it.

I saw these guys live in Nashville a couple years ago and I felt like I was taking advantage of them by paying full price for a ticket. It was like they just found out that this was the last show they would ever be allowed to play and they left it all on the stage. This is one of those groups that will blow your mind when you see them live.

Saw them play twice. Once in san luis obiso and LA. Both shows were fucking amazing.
Your comment sums it up nicely. They took the roof of Ampere in Munich last night. Mad mad mad show. The atmosphere they created was so immersive and tangible it literally left me with tears of joy with a hint nostalgia. What an experience.
Big big thumbs up for audio engineer Craig Montgomery! The sound quality is pretty darn good.
This band needs to be listened to more.
To this day, in stressful situations I still have the lines come to me: "stay calm, stay clam, stay clam". Sung in his voice it just elicits happiness and really brightens the mood.
God I love hearing an accent in a song, it's a good refresh from American music.

Fantastic band with one of the best albums in the last 30 years. Many, many spins on my turntable and in my head.
In 2011 I went to a festival in Brighton, England where over 300 bands play at 50 different venues in the city. I went to see this band for no real reason other than their name sounded interesting. It was the best live performance I have ever seen, 10 years later I still listen to WWPJ every, single, day.

Lucky enough to have seen these guys play various venues in Scotland over the last 4/5 year. Already got my ticket for the next time they play in the area, never ever heard a bad gig from them. 100% recommend anyone to go see them live at least once no matter what kinda music you're into! 🤟

I was born in 2005. My early years were in the late 2000's and early 2010's and I always wish I was my age during those times. This music reminds me of my home city of Glasgow during those times and warms my heart and with the passing of time and with how their music has changed, it feels like I've grown up with them. Also, am I the only one who would love this version of the album on vinyl?

Can not wait to see them in Carrboro Nc and DC this year. I have been waiting for the DC show since last aug when i bought the tickets for november that got postponed to april. saw they added a date in my state for march. so excited to be able to see them . such a great band!

I saw them open up for Bad Veins back in 2009 at the End in Nashville. After my face melting from the onslaught that night from both bands. I've been a fan ever since.

To be fair, it's really fucking hard to play at the speed they used to perform at. And maybe the vocals have just fallen out of his range over time.
If you haven't seen them live yet you should! I saw them play in LA a few months ago, one of the best live performances I've witnessed. These guys play so hard and his voice is so raw with emotion. I was very impressed by the end of the show how they managed to be so alive the whole time. Its funny because I felt out of breath with all the singing and jumping I did lol. They sound really good already don't get me wrong, but they sound even better live and it was great to see how much emotion they put into their music. It was one of those shows while as you're walking back to your car, you're like " damn that just happened".
