    This may be the most appallingly inaccurate video I've ever seen. To those watching from elsewhere, please do visit Louisiana, you'll have a great time, but by no means use this video for any guidance other than google maps illustrating the locations.

    I live in Louisiana and someone didn't do their homework while making this video. Almost every town named has a video with views of New Orleans. Also, who rated these places as the best places to live? Very inaccurate.

    • @theredneckfaithful4759

      Yeah might as well have been a list of major cities of Louisiana. But even then thier view of these cities is not reality.

    • @jeffsbisa8123
      @jeffsbisa8123 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep, based on this video... every city in Louisiana must have views of the New Orleans French Quarter. They probably took someone else's listicle and made it worse by adding stock video that does not match the city they referenced.

    Coming from someone who actually lives in Louisiana I call bull#$%@ on this video. We are on the bottom of the totem pole with education. Half of Lake Charles is still torn up from hurricane Laura. I refuse to go to Lake Charles alone anymore as, the crime rate is crazy for a town its size. We all know about crime rates in big cities and it is no different in Louisiana. People do your research before making videos.

    Almost every clip in this video is either of New Orleans or somewhere that doesn't even look like Louisiana! Not to mention her opening line is just ridiculous! Louisiana is not one one the happiest states (just cause we have Mardi Gras and party doesn't mean we are happy), not to mention we certainly don't have some of the best public or private schools in the country, and our economy is not great. I've lived in alot of places in Louisiana for over 20 years, and this list is garbage. Most of the list I would never live in, and Mandeville would beat out Prairieville (sorry to those in Prairieville). I currently live in Mandeville and I have to say it's the best spot in the state, you can live here and be away from the city of New Orleans but close enough to enjoy it or work there.

Most people I know would not go to New Orleans or Baton Rouge without armed guards. One section of Baton Rouge recently succeeded from the city primarily to get their children out of the awful school environment.
    A terrible situation New Orleans should be a cultural treasure for the country because of the political environment and the acceptance of lawlessness it is a no go.

    Have you received Jesus Christ as Lord and personal savior in your life?
    If you haven't received it yet, accept him now in your life as a personal and savior, pray this prayer for the Lord that comes from your heart.
    " Father I thank You that You love me so much, no matter what my past has been You have a future for me that is bright. I thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus and I desire to experience all that He gave His life for me to have. I choose now to turn from my own way, and I ask you to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus died to take my sin and rose from the dead that I may be forgiven. I declare that right now I am Your child and I am free to be who You created me to be, write my name in the book of life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."

      @@brianwhite1189 thank you! I lived in Louisiana the first 26 years of my life in Lake Charles and Baton Rouge! Personally, I love Lafayette. It’s a great city with all kinds of Cajun Culture. You’ll have the best time living there. My Aunt and Uncle raised their kids there and I loved visiting Lafayette (laf-e-ette) as a kid and as I got older. You’ll be right by Rayne (crawfish capital), Atchafalaya Basin, about an hour from Baton Rouge and An extra 60 miles to NOLA. Lots of wetland wildlife!
      Lafayette is also close to Avery Island (Tabasco!!) and so much history and old houses. Gives you the laid back City life. You’re also not far from fishing, boating, and more. Louisiana motto is Sportsman’s Paradise after all.
      New Orleans is a great place to visit. If you want to be closer, I would suggest Kenner. That’s technically where the airport is. I also suggest Metairie.
      My favorite though, is Lafayette. May take a bit to understand the thick Cajun accent. People also still speak French.

    I came one time Louisiana and liked this very much, much good persons there, but this week l not like about my friend told how so bad the inmigration agents in Louisiana try the immigrants who they have in inmigration jail. She told me she knows a boy who really be in danger in his country, he will lose his life , if he gets his country, and the inmigration agents there tried him like garbage, he asked for water too, and they told him Not, they will deport him on Tuesday, this really be bad like we have lost human manner. Make your job, not mean not be human, we have lost values, humans manner, empathy, compassion. And after the Covi-19, we turned in worse people. I pray a lot, because l now God and the life will send us the bill. I think these inmigration agents do not think God really is real, and he sends the bill to us for bad things we do. It is about when we get a lot of bad things and are painful in our lives. We must stop and think. WHAT DID I DID? WHAT HAPPEND ALOT PAINFUL TO ME? It is about less human and bad we have done in this life. Simply, God sent us the bill.
