The Twisted Fealty to untap from bitter chill was for sure the max percentage chance for him to win that game. First time watching Numot where I was actually rooting for the other player.
@@patthepog Feels like it makes the draft way more interesting if not necessarily more skillful, the fact that you are not reliant on opening bomb rares and mythics (non-prince format) is always a good time for me, plus seeing all the ridiculous rares being passed around is amusing in itself
I was surprised you didn't take Necro w 2 grapples! That card is soo much fun to play with & just a turn or two with it can swing a game when you're able to bargain it away afterwards. I'm assuming you wanted more life synergy before comitting. Love the content as always! Interested to see how this draft shakes out
Considering he had limited fixing in mind for the otters, Triple black doesn't seem as hard to achieve. The upside is huge. He did first pick candy grapple after all, it just combos so well. But I wouldn't argue with his decision, the man knows what he's doing 😂
Candy Grapple advice just got me 5 wins for the first time in this format. had a very mid blue/red fuck you deck, and the 3 grapples i had literally carried me the whole way. only thing i lost to was two imodan recruiters and one manaless game.
@@NumotTheNummyYT I like feed the cauldron more personally, being able to also hit 3s feels like a big deal most of the time. I also have probably had bad luck with Vanity because I am constantly playing against aggro and it seems like it should be better than it is for me
That's too harsh, it might be slow you might have to hold on to it long but if they play tokens or 2 mana crazies like Tough Cookie or Mother Goose, you are golden so it's about the match up. The card has better upside than any of those considered here but could drag you in sure.
49:15 Really flinched too, deserves praise.
1:22:49 Blow Off Steam-ing your own Mocking Sprite to trash the Gingerbread Hunter was sick Nummy.
Been around to see CGB and LVD hit 100k subs. Let’s get Numot there 📣
Defense of the Heart brought me back to my earliest days of kitchen table magic, love it. Also great grindy games!
I love the wind blowing behind kenji’s head sometimes. It makes it look like he’s thinking really hard lol
no golden locks to flow through
All about the baby hair now.
this was one of the most fun drafts to watch from this format, close and interesting games!

Woooooww~ That was an interesting draft and really cool to see your thought process, which deck to build: UB or UR, with splashing or not.
How is Frolicking Familiar not the thumbnail for this
What a pivot into more red! Nicely done sir!
What's your child's rank in limited?
Highly underrated comment.
"Uh oh, that means we're dead. I think" lol
I feel like uncommons have been pushed a lot in this set
And some seriously dud rares and mythics, makes for a lot of packs with multiple rares getting passed over uncommons and commons

Seeing these cards picks I realize that I'll be never a high level player. I still being distracted by rarity...
Really good matches Sir

You need to have roughly 15 playable black cards already to take necro there. Triple black is no joke

What's the way you usually use yo get your gem count so high? I've always wondered about it
Awesome content. Thanks man. Great work. Fun time.

That Curiosity was arkward to see. First, to risky to play, later, impossible to play due to decking concerns..
Take the puff than pass... LOL!
Great content.
Tuber views are up Kenji!! TH-cam stock lookin juicing lol
red blue almost always seems open for me
Why would you spoil the qualifier wins/losses?? D:
Yay !
Did I say that twice? I don't know
Give me your candy.

Witch's Vanity feels trash 90% of the time I have it. Pretty much worse than every other black removal spell
I like it more than feed the cauldron and shatter, but definitely worse than grapple
