I'm actually kind of feeling that MRT Axleback. I've only ever gone with catbacks for my performance vehicles, but the sound on the MRT just sounds pretty dang good.
Both Borlas sound identical. Corsa hands down is the best sounding exhaust for the Ecoboost. Slap a Whipple Intercooler, high pressure fuel pump, catch can and a tune and call it a day.
Thanks for the Vid! I just got installed today 11-10-23 the Thermal R&D 3" Cat-Back Exhaust System with Mid Pipes - Coated Tips. I had no idea that it was such a difference sound from the Stock. Much louder and deeper than you hear on YT. Only in person the real difference can be heard. I love it. Makes the ST sound awesome! 👍👍 Now it is time to add in the AFE cold air sitting in my garage. ZFG tune is next!
The wife and I installed the 3 in thermal a few weeks ago, it definitely sounds good as far as v6 go. I honestly thought it would be a bit louder though. Gonna do the Cvf downpipes in a few days and I’m sure that will give me the volume we were looking for. Currently have a upr catchcan, Cvf intercooler, and waiting on an sb intake to be made and shipped. Also waiting on jdm engineering to send me my tune thus completing the build.
@@lucian7182 Awesome! I haven't decided on doing the down pipes or not. Tune I'm going to with ZFG. I need to get the intercooler. I was looking at the steeda one right now is on sale. I just ordered the steeda diff brace and strut tower brace. Going to install all 3 including the AFE cold air, this weekend. I start a new job next week and it is a government job so I kinda don't want to pull up making all kinds of noise lol at least in the beginning haha. 😅
Ok you guys are the fuckin best. As someone who always modifies his vehicles this makes life waaaaay easier. 3 things after getting the car I always do is intake/exhaust/tune. This one's for the wife so probably go with the magnaflow as we've had that on a trailblazer SS as well as a Durango RT. The sound is subtle and perfect for someone who doesn't want obnoxious. On a side note I'd go Borla Atak all day cuz I enjoy obnoxious.
Problem is, all these sound clips are from different sources, usually the mfg's website, recorded in different scenarios using different equipment. I've already heard all these. I was hoping to hear them all recorded in the same space using the same sound recording equipment technique. Yes it is nice to have them all in one video, but it still is not representative of the true differences. Oh well.
I am , or was a big fan of Magnaflow. I like the rich tone with no drone. Back in the day Magnaflow had dyno charts with their exhaust. Now they are missing. I sent an email asking them about the SS over sized tips I have got with there exhaust for 15+ years. They told me BLACK TIPS only on the ST. They told me I would get 1 to 3 hp with a full cat back. 1 to 3 hp on a 400 hp car is not even 1%. this exhaust is 23 to $2500 installed. I dont get any performance gain and I dont get the cool over size SS tips. what is the point?
I was waiting and wanting the Magnaflow for months , but nah , I listened and listened to the Corsa , and Nah ! No way man , Despite the Haters. The Borla in Stock form sounds the best at idle, take offs , Hard Accel , and the downshifts are Just BadAss ! #Borla
Like I said above, it's almost impossible to say without hearing them all recorded in the same conditions with the same recording equipment. But, based off the brands reputations and personal experience, I would say the Magnaflow. They tend to have a deep smooth sound, especially with their Street Series systems.

Right!? It could have been the quality of the recording but that one made me want to open my wallet!
I really liked the S-Type. Awesome video!

Def between the Corsa and the MRT for me. I like a deeper sound vs just loud.

"You are special"
Thanks Mike, I needed that today. 👊
This video is very helpful! Now I'm thinking of buying the corsa exhaust.
I love the Corsa exhaust for Ford Exploret ST.
You have good style! I like too.
The Corsa does sound like a diesel truck at idle and low rpm, but I like the sound when you get on it.
100 % satisfied with The Borla ATak Carbon Fiber...#ST
same
Thermal is the best

Perfect video! Exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
This guys sounds like he’s about to host an episode of “Cheaters” 😂
I would love to see what the akropovic mufflers from a mustang would sound like on the ST

The Corsa sounds like a damn diesel truck. Blech. Big fan of the Thermal.
That axle-back 😛
I like the borla atack!
Borla Atack / Magnaflow ALL DAY!!!!
You r the special 💪💪
This is really fantastic content
Great video 🤘🤘🤘
Borla Atak ✅
Excelente no le causa problemas al motor
Honestly I don’t like any, hard to find a good catback for a V6. But if I had to choose, I would go with the Thermal R&D.

looking at all their websites there is NO power gain. why spend the money
I choose Corsa
Borla Atak has a really great sound.
MAGNAFLOW AND CORSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i like the Atak
Excelente trabajo
Wow. What a superb video. Thank you all so much. Made my choice 😌👌👍
dead links for the Corsa and MRT?
this guy again from travel promos to finance and now promoting exhausts...
Tough choice between the borla and thermal
I have on 2.3L biturbo which one do you suggest?
these exhausts are for the 3.0L from the explorer st
@@aidenhebbard6021 yep I see but which one can be for 2.3l
Which is the quietest of them all? I mean, the one that won't piss my neighbor in the morning?

Magnaflow sounded quite
Borla S-tyle .
If being quiet is the concern,
Stay Stock.....
