- After the death of his teenage brother Andy, multi-millionaire Matt Trakker uncovers an international criminal organization known as V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem) Trakker gathers a group of friends who, like himself, possess extraordinary talents and creates M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) Their objective; to destroy V.E.N.O.M. and its mastermind - Miles Mayhem, the man responsible for Andy's death.

Mixey Boy Yeah. I Think Bulldog Moved better (Especially in tank mode) And had better Armour, But I feel Rhino Had the better Firepower. Especially in the Laser Cannons
Actually Bulldoge/Bulldoze was a Peterbilt truck and of course Rhino was a Kenworth W900. Both I believe had Cummins V8 diesel engine.

I don't really like this second series. They changed the formula from season 1, what made M.A.S.K. interesting in the first place. It seems like a different show, about a bunch of guys running around circuit tracks, no more missions etc...Scott and T-Bob are no longer there, they were the main comic relief; especially T-Bob. They should have done some more character development with some flashback episodes (for instance show how M.A.S.K. started, how Myles Mayhem betrayed Matt Trakker and his brother Andy before stealing half the vehicles fleet etc...) as seen in other contemporary cartoons such as Centurions and Transformers.
WHAT?! V.E.N.O.M. gives the PSA in this one?! Never thought I'd ever see that!

I know exactly how you feel, but I used to have this talk a lot with David315842 (other people would have explained that, even if cartoons have villains, the villains can sometimes watch how *far* they go). Sometimes even the villains don't want things happening that are that bad.
I used to love watching this show as a kid in the 80's, it being sort of a cross between G I Joe and Transformers but it has yet to get its own 20?? Live movie adaptation, I would love to see it.

Always interesting to see a big change between seasons, this time w/a focus on Buddy (Clutch), & no Matt, Scott, mission, etc.
Great animation in the derby. Bruno & Vanessa were a menace. Boris was really something.

Buddie and the Czar definitely put on a convincing performance for Ms. Vanessa when they pretended not to get along after the demo derby.
Along with all the new vehicles and mask/helmets, some of the characters got nicknames, like "Clutch", "Mad Dog" and "Czar". Kind of like all the GI Joe guys having code names.
and they don't question a guy with a transforming vehicle nobody has seen before? C'mon, Vanessa! :D

Easilly this is the episode with more action until now
East/West relationships in the mid 80's were very rocky.
It would have been great if they could have had these 10 episodes put onto 2 dvd with 5 episodes each. I own the box set of season 1 but season 2 never was released onto disk.

feels strange briefly seeing Gloria in this episode, especially when Buddy says he'll see her at headquarters, we never see her again
It feels even stranger when the moral is given by Mayem himself at the end of the episode.

Fortunately, Scott and T-Bob aren't seen as much, anymore, in the racing series (they only appeared in a few of the PSAs, and T-Bob never spoke in the PSA to 'High Noon', about wearing helmets, hence his last speaking role was the last season 1 episode - 'Raiders of the Orient Express').
Honestly, I think Scott is more annoying that T-Bob. T-Bob, I can at least tolerate. But Scott is an annoying, whiny, selfish, and obnoxious little brat. Why Matt never disciplines him or puts him in his place is anyone's guess.
What gets me, (looking back) is the crowd isn't scared or even concerned someone might get killed😮 Kids shows back then, we're always concerned about presenting a 'right message' to their young audience. Not so with this one

@@michaelweech6432 same here. I hated the way all the venom agents were turned goofy in season 2. I felt masks story lines had declined in season 2! They weren’t as exciting as thrilling and exciting as season 1. The plots weren’t as good. Mayhem wasn’t as menacing. Honda was gone. Boulder hill was gone. Scott and t Bob were gone!
my favorite psa is when T bop sticks a fork in the toaster going this thing is taking too long
I'm curious, *had* there been a series 3, after this season, would VENOM have still, sometimes, done the PSAs? They never did in season 1.

Thanks for the upload. Wow, Season 2 really sucked. The new vehicle and uniform designs are a total mess, the voice acting and animation dropped in quality, and they totally gave up on creating plots. No wonder it didn't last a full season.
Going by the credits, the first season had about 24 writers (*shock*) and this season has only two. No wonder the plot stinks. I thought the animation in this episode is as good as the first season.
Plus, Venom, a well known criminal/terrorist organization are allowed to be racing with Mask? That'd be like the Autobots and Decepticons have road races rather than battles.
I think the problem with this series was the racing theme - coupled with the fact that the female M.A.S.K. character - who was an experienced car racer - was left out.

The one thing that got me with the second season of this show is this. How is that the MASK team knew who all the venom agents were, but now the venom team knows who the MASK agents are. Its too bad the second season ended after only 10 episodes. They couldn't even give Vanessa and Bruno new cars for this series. After all they gave Buddy a new name.
I think they gave Buddy the nickname because you have several cases first season of him and Dusty being confused, and Dusty does appear in the second season.
There's a couple of cases where Dusty talks in Buddy's voice (different voice actors too) and one where Buddy isn't even on the case (Dusty is) and yet Buddy is drawn in the shot.
You're one of the few people who *does* like the second season (the racing series). I don't get what was so bad about it (hence, to try and deflect hating it, in contrast to season 1, I think of Miles Mayhem's new Buzzard gear, where his mask power was Flexor, which created barriers, hence was more so used for defence, rather than attacking, as making him look like a Colonel) [since his Switchblade gear, where his mask power was Viper, which shot acid, made him look like a General].
For those who didn't mind the second season, it's possible they wish there was a third season, thereafter; Miles Mayhem would possibly have changed to his VENOM's Revenge gear (where his mask power was 'Ripper', which, as implied by the name, literally shredded metal) [even though, being one of the 'MASK Adventure Packs', it was a jet pack, rather than a vehicle, but at least, like Switchblade, and unlike Buzzard, it could fly]. This outfit made him look like a Sergeant (hence these are my most favourite outfits of Miles Mayhem, as they all remind me of the three members of the Triangle of Terror - Mustafa, Slaughter and Adnan).
Although I only like *one* outfit of Alex Sector - his season 1 outfit (as the owner of Boulder Hill, and, vehicles-wise - yes - I'm aware I'm quoting the computer, was the 'Rhino systems commander'). I definitely don't like his outfit he wore in the second season (his 'Collector' gear, even if his Disruptor mask was a replica of his Jackrabbit mask) [I'm aware his Jackrabbit mask enabled him to fly]. If there are any outfits of Miles Mayhem I definitely don't like, it's his Outlaw gear (where his mask power was 'Python'; even this outfit didn't make him look like a Sergeant).

The first season of MASK had some solid storylines for each episode. But season 2 was when the show went down hill.
