Hi Nick. Looks Great from the outside and hidden lines make the deck safe. Interior is spacious, 3 cabins, lots of natural light. Great walkthrough tour thanks 😊
An incredibly well designed yacht - it’s got to be pretty easy to sail with self-furling genoa and self tacking. And so much space both in the cockpit and down below. Incredible value for money.

Have boat builders forgotten about removing sharp edges, corners and door handles especially on yachts, these are decent handles for once. Like the fit out apart from the above. Are those black solar vents on the hatches?
This boat isn't really made for ocean voyages. A boat like this is aimed more at the charter market and Med/Caribbean sailing. You really need to step up in price to get a true blue water cruiser.
Gee I really loved this yacht. the layout is absolutely brilliant and such a clean design above and below decks. Yes - nice to see more sail in your tours. Don't forget the mirror wave!! As always so well done - thanks Nick.

A sailboat this size is the only true freedom, borders can be closed, airspace can be closed, but you cannot close the seas and the wind. Boating made me understood why the old sailors chose the perilous freedom at sea over safety on land.

One thing a lot of boats could really make use of is to be able to run the engine and simply use it as a generator. (either by having it drive a small mains generator, or just use the 12-24 volt alternator to drive an inverter for mains power.) After all, even a fairly small motor could produce enough power to run a microwave or electric cooker in general, or other more power hungry equipment with ease. (Even a pathetic 10 hp is after all 7 kw of power, that can get one rather far in terms of electric appliances.) Adding solar panels would have their own advantages, and for a sailboat, it could provide quite the advantage especially if combined with some regen on an electric motor. Then the only thing to worry about is how much water and food one can bring.
They can get away with it because they have a small engine. Just remember, this boat will only go about 8 knots max speed under engine power. It will be slightly faster under sails, and in the right conditions though.

The Hanse wash boards are one feature of their boats that annoys me. It’s heavy to lift up when closing from inside and easy to let go when opening it so it slams down. Also sometimes it’s nice to have the vertical washboard in place without closing the hatch when in a marina for privacy or just for keeping wind and rain out when it is still warm. The lift up version is a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.
