Thor is one of the most ambitious and courageous human beings on this planet, and I'm glad to have finally caught him in Bangkok after 4 years of being internet friends!
This Danish man left his home in October 2013 with the goal to visit every single country in one continuous journey without flying on a single airplane. So far, he's made it to 174 countries by means of container ships, trains, buses and taxis -- and he's done it all on $20 USD per day!

Wow! One thing I've learned is the slower you go, the more you see. I would love it if he chronicled each day in a page. Just as long as it wasn't too tedious for him. Then, annually put it together as a book!!! Great retirement income for him too!

I read a book about a guy who traveled from Australia to the UK without taking any flight. It was a very good book, but this journey is totally different and much harder
....And at the end he got an Indian wife that was about to be sacrifice.
Ah, the man is filthy rich and no one knows how he got the fortune,He traveled with his butler.....

If he can then they pay him a large amount of money and if he couldn't do it he would pay them. He gets a Indian wife and Butler got high on the journey. Was a good book.

Yes, but with different rules. Graham counted crossing the demarcation lines within no-man's lands as "visits", plus he put his trip on hold a couple times and flew.

Owen Swenson Hi there, I actually met Graham. Nice guy. We had a few beers together. Our projects are quite different though. He allowed flying for holidays, getting visas and personal reasons. And he was in a great hurry...more of a 80 days around the world thing.
