    OMG.. I am waiting for this game to evolve when for a particular hole -
    Playdemic gives wind speed as 5.82 units, golf clash streamers explaining elevation as +11.37%, club distance as 47.38% of max, 2.38 top spin, 3.47 left spin, ball guide to deviate 4.75% of hole radius left from center. That day, - 40 would be a new normal score for tournament and people will start complaining most about "out of time".

    A couple of months ago I started pulling across or over the bullseye after watching your Golden Shot tutorials. I used to pull 'to the bullseye', but noticed it's hard to know exactly where the center of the bullseye is because it's a bit blurry. I just have to do it the same way every time to get consistent. Thanks Tommy!

    This is a huge problem in the community
    Thank you for finally addressing this
    I feel like most players figure out after a VERY LONG time and then they go back to being quiet since they figured it out
    I've been using the bullseye method inconsistently and helps explain my misses at least 55% of the time
    This prevents me from leveling up. Thank you very much
    I would like to say more mechanistic videos like these are much appreciated (most people who are already 1000+ trophies wont find it useful)

    Guess I need to go apply this method! Just like the player you described. I too have been experiencing this problem with my pull. I use to adjust over the bullseye but then stopped. I have gotten more drops since then, but also some inconsistent shots as well. I’ve even went back and watched your adjustment videos trying to figure this out. I have noticed when you recommend in the videos to add 0.2 or subtract 0.1. I nail the shot every time. I don’t know why but it work!

    Tommy, awesome as usual. I use one of the ring guides on the market, I presume they are typically not adjusted for this. I also pull to or from the center and realise now that this makes for potential inaccuracy on both ends of the pull, I like the idea of using a ring edge.

    If I need to pull five rings, I always start at the inside of the white ring and pull to the top of the yellow ring. I always pull over the center. If I have to pull four rings...I go from tip to tip of the red ring, moving over the center. If I have to pull ten rings I pull from tip to tip of the white ring.

    Just a thought after watching this....I'm thinking for example if you need to adjust 2 rings, and you use the bottom, or the middle (actual center of bullseye), or the top part of the bullseye, it would yield 3 different outcomes. Since, it is 3-dimensional, the bottom is bigger and the top is smaller. Therefore, I think we should adjust equally over the bullseye. I feel this will give the best average and most accurate. Meaning, for example, 8 rings would be inside white to inside white. 4 rings would be inside blue to inside blue, etc. I know it rarely will work out perfectly like that, but following that somewhat I think might be the most accurate way to adjust using the apps. It'll definitely be a work in progress. Thanks for your hard work and guides Tommy!

    Tommy it just dawned on me this is also the reason I’ve spent gobs of money with little to no drops on golden shot by following your advice to a T...except I don’t adjust the same way you do. I will now.

    What’s the best way break up shots with winds high enough to have 2 pulls? For winds like 14.5 with sniper I usually pull 9.5 and 5. Or would 8.5 and 6 be better or the same? I would guess better because 8.5 and 6 goes over bullseye.

Thank you man, this is an absolute game changer. I have at least 2 or 3 shots per tourney where I burn the edge or lip out. Now with this information I shot -14 and -15 on my two accounts for today's mini tourney round in masters! I hope your ready for some masters competition now 😉. What are you supposed to do when, for example, you have an eight mph wind, and hitting a 100%club? You can only pull down so far before you run out of screen. OR, the take shot button kicks in. THAT is the issue I'm having. BTW, shot 61 under, on two accounts, in the safari sunrise tourney this morning.

    Well when adjusting in a direction that Is not dead 90° to the ball guide the target expands and contracts so if u dont get this right ur target will expand or contract at a different rate even in draw back, so if you set ur take shot at five rings a pull back in a tail wind shot, even thou u pull to the bullseye its not actually five rings ur pull coz the target shrinks as you pull back, so if u take the shrinkage out of the equation ull end up with a different adjument

    Now I see why some shots are over adjusted with my thorn. If the bullseye equals 2.2 rings and I have a wind say 9mph which with the thorn 9 equals around 4.5 rings 10% elevation. I'm actually pulling 4.7 rings. That extra .2 will cause your ball to roll a ring outside the pin. Just that small amount makes a big difference. Now I understand!

      From the centre of the yellow ring to the outside edge of the yellow ring (radius) = 1 ring, outside edge of yellow to opposite outside edge of yellow (diameter) = 2 rings, from what i understand on this video, outside to outside of the yellow ring is actually 2.2 rings. From that i guess there is an absolute centre spot inside the yellow ring which has a diameter equal to 0.2 rings..

    IMO this is a glitch that Playdemic should resolve. A ring should be a ring.

    • @pandafield918
      @pandafield918 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The issue is when you move the rings (adjusting or otherwise) they will change size - smaller as you pull toward minimum/you and larger as you pull toward maximum/hole. So by adjusting through the bullseye, you are “moving” rings that are closer to a consistent size from the adjustment point.

  • @Lordzapper
    @Lordzapper 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    So what should we use then? To bullseye or through. I rarely use your adjustments due to different yards, club, level of club or ball. But both your ringcalculator and notebooks when they say x rings, do they mean to bullseye or through. Which one is more right according to ringcalculators? If you know what i mean in my swinglish.

  • @gregf2210
    @gregf2210 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    This video is good but it led to more questions. Are you saying that you shouldn’t adjust to the middle of the bullseye because it isn’t an actual line and because it’s not a line, it can lead to inaccuracies? Are you saying that the width of the entire yellow circle is somehow .2 rings wider than 2 rings? What about if you are pulling through the bullseye and you found that your finger just drops off the screen then you have to scramble to evaluate your ring position to compensate?

    • @BKGolfClash
      @BKGolfClash 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some may disagree, but see my reply above - I’ve just measured loads of targets from different guides / clubs etc - the yellow circle is 10% wider than the red and blue widths combined.

    • @gregf2210
      @gregf2210 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      So if that’s the case, the yellow ring really should not be used at all in the pull. A full pull of 10 rings really is 10.2 rings? Outer white edge to outer white edge is 10.2 rings? Mind blown

    • @BKGolfClash
      @BKGolfClash 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Greg F According to my measurements, a full target is going to be 10.2 rings. That’s the only explanation for how the two different adjusting methods differ in result.
