- If you are not familiar with the Jaecoo brand, don't worry, neither are we. Till now. After spending half a day with the team from Jaecoo Malaysia and getting to know the J7 AWD (though not as intimately as we would have liked), we have sort of familiarised ourselves with the brand. So not the J7 is not built by Land Rover, there's no association with Land Rover and neither is there anything to do with the British marque. So if you don't know Jaecoo and you don't know the J7, this video is for you!

clear and great sharing there bro. its indeed an elegant yet rugged machine. i cant wait for it reach our showroom and start sharing and selling this J7
Thank you for the support. It is quite an impressive ride.
I was able to test drive this vehicle today….WOW WOW WOW….you ignore this incredible vehicle at your peril
First decent and proper review. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Keshy, exciting "off-road" review 👍. A good-looking SUV indeed both exterior & interior
Thank you bro.
Just subscribed! Just a correction with Isuzu D Max, Ford Ranger, Frontier/Navara are actually midsized pickup trucks. Full size would be F-150, Ram etc. All in all, nice video on the Jaecoo.
Thank you for the support. As for the size of the pick-up, you are right. But from a Malaysian perspective where we don't get the F-150, the D-Max and Ranger are full sized since there is nothing else bigger. For now.
Very interesting car south africa is watching as always🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!
You are right, the JV with land rover has been misreported. Confusion came from Chery and Land Rover being in a production JV in China for the Chine market but Jaecoo is not a 50/50 between Chery and Land Rover. I think its an honest mistake. I am not knocking this car and I am actually quite interested to try it out but the Land Rover input into Jaecoo (If any) should not be misrepresented.
Yes, nothing to do with the product itself, the J7 is undoubtedly an impressive prospect. But people keep saying it is a Jaecoo/LR product, and that is false.
After 4 videos .. u look and sound like harith iskander ..
Keep it up.
Your new fan
Hahaha… thank you!!
To anyone, can you please tell me the Headlight Bulb Code used in JAECOO J7?
Inside China, Jaecoo is Chery’s sub brand tailored to long distance travel with minor off-road capabilities. Not necessarily a luxury brand
Currently i'm driving X70 premium. Do you recommend this car if i want to upgrade? Or are there any car you recommend that i survey first? Fyi, i and my wife only with no children.
Depends on your lifestyle. If you need space then the new CRV is worth a look too. If u like a car that handles well then check out the CX5.
Please could you tell me if this expected price with customs and taxes or without and in Malaysia how much the customs and taxes on a car like this car ?
This price should be otr without insurance ..
My only problem is that it's not a 7 seater like Chery Tiggo 8 😢
The back seats of the cherry are basically useless. For infants only. And they take up a ton of boot space.
I've personally seen both and the Omoda's. The Jaecoo is hands down the best
I test drove one today, why on earth they didn’t realise black roof liner is a must in this vehicle. This is a family car
Yea the black roof liner does look better
Does the 1.6T feels underpower for the size of this SUV?
Not when we tested it, but a full on road test would be better to answer that question.
Rather than comparing to land rover,it is more comparable to subaru forestor right
Sorry bro, think you misunderstood. We are not comparing it against the Land Rover, but we are just explaining why some people seem to associate Jaecoo with Land Rover when in fact there is no connection between the two other than the fact that Chery (mother brand for Jaecoo) used to assemble Land Rovers for the Chinese market.
fuel consumption data?
No info as yet, we will conduct a real world test when we get the car for a long term test later on.
Is it like Lexus to Toyota
About the level of a Toyota as far as the interior is concerned.. But driving quality have to wait and see..
Tired of socalled well known brand which are at times overpriced to the throat...Let this chinese made product give them run for money...For 150-160k price range for a look alike range rover worth to be considered...Love the gear knob resembles of a jet plane
