I backed this game and am delighted with just how much I got. Love the improvement in quality from original dungeon saga and the miniatures were a joy to paint (undead, heroes and goblins painted so far)
I rather pick this up than the Legendary Edition for obvious reason: portability. Amazing job Mantic! Thanks... It's definitely not just for kids or for families.

Saw the Kickstarter for this after I got in the worms Kickstarter. Gotta say I'm interested in it, but also got the hero quest releases. Curious on what the cost is gonna be.
I have an almost 1 year old daughter, so it's a bit too early :) I've used to play a lot DnDs. Will there be an already painted version? I would rather pay more, as I don't have too much spare time.
Hi! Origins is a prequel to the original Dungeon Saga series. It's got all the miniatures included that you need to play, and is deliberately less expensive than other popular dungeon crawlers - just one of the ways that we've designed it to be a great fit for family tabletop gaming. Despite the lower price we've made sure to maintain a high level of quality with the rules, miniatures, and components.
I'll say this as an owner of the new heroquest (and almost all the expansions)- the quality of the miniatures from dungeon saga origins, is way better than the new heroquest miniatures. I know it's not all about the miniatures or components, but in my case, I am very happy with both games.

Pick up legendary edition, its far more better ,believe me,i just got it.96 minies and 42 missions!!!!

Great starter game for people interested in bringing their kids into the dungeons.
My son is only 11 months, but this might be a nice drop to support a smaller developer and to have fun with him when older :)
