- After Amit Shah's interview with ANI, Rajya Sabha MP and Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal held a press conference on May 16 in New Delhi. At the conference, he reacted to HM Shah's comment on the Supreme Court's intention behind giving Arvind Kejriwal's interim bail. He targeted the Home Minister by saying that Amit Shah doesn't have enough knowledge of the law.

Was soren the chief minister of jharkhand, a habitual offender, and why in his case court did not give him this favour. Kejrival questioned his arrest and not prayed the court for bis bail. But the court, even with out his request has ordered his release on bail. The court asked, why his arrest in the time of election is a real foolery. The ED issued him summons to appear before it several times, prolonging to two to three months, before election procedures began, then the court was to take this evasion of kejrival by not appearing as an offence and must not have given him any favour

Arrest of Kejrival itself is an illegal as without constructrictve proofs and the honorable Supreme Court given an interim bail till June first basing on the materials and the honorable home minister Amitshaji saying that bail not proper is it not comes under the contempt of court as per the public opinion.

Kapil Sibal's life is one of the greatest examples of lack of propriety in public life. After being law minister of India for two terms, there is so much good he could have done. Instead, he decides to practice law, representing highly controversial cases (e.g. Salman khan's hit and run case), taking crores in fees, and arguing the cases in front of judges who he had (indirect) influence over earlier as head of the law ministry. What he should have done instead is to use his experience to teach law at govt universities, or practice pro-bono for environmental/other-good causes - that sort of behaviour would have inspired youngsters to aspire to a similar path. Instead, when we look at his life, chasing power and money, it creates deep disappointment in humanity itself.
