I got my Greedent sorted at the end of last season and got to play a couple of sets with it then, have used it continuously this season in Ultra and love it.
The toughest part of facing a Greedent, at least with my team, is as a safe swap. Greedent and Snorlax look identical in the top right but my counter swap needs to be fast and correct. Both seem to be equally as prevalent currently so I just have to guess. I've swapped my swampert into Greedent several times and it's cost me the match.
I've been trying to make Greedent work as my remix safe swap - and I keep running into too many scrafty or machamp. I'm still working on it though! I used Greedent a lot in great league and want to make it work in Ultra as well.
I use it with gallade lead, greedent and sylveon back, gallade cover fighters and poison, so is a "good" coverage, the problem (to me) is escavalier mainly, if gallade doesn´t land CC is almost GG, Also I have "problems" with Armored Mew2. I don´t have another good psychic (only exeggcutor ready for Ultra) neither another XL mon, specially for remix, can do an altaria, talonflame, Umbreon, but it´s a BIIIG risk umbreon lead. Tried with Waterfall Gyarados (fairly good), Dragon tail milotic, ball gengar, Kingrda, flygon, Icinerate typhlosion, none of them gave me good team feels. Field anecdote: I´ve faced easily 10 times poison-double dark teams (queen, scrafty, umbreon), they always swap to umbreon, I swap to greedent bc sylveon wins umbreon (not using shields) with very low hp (umbreon needs 3 psychic/last resorts, 4 to win but doesn´t reach the fourth) so queen come back, farm, gallade, swap to scrafty, greedent can´t win to queen even if gallade beats scrafty, the same result if you shield sylveon against Umbreon. So, if I win to imbreon (almost all the time, specially landing any gallade charged move, they usually shield the potential CC, so greedent fights with shield advantage or hp advantage) they usually use scrafty, then sylveon, then queen switch, then gallade...
What to do against obstagoon leads? They spamm so hard and kill my swampert. My opponent got an attack boost after night slash and destroyed the team completely.
@@2OP4YOU make it your buddy, get it excited, walk and you'll have enough candies in a week. Make sure to power it up as high as you can too so you are getting XLs from walking 80-90% of the time. If you don't power it up above level 36, then you won't get XL candies from walking very often
@@nicevenson2498 yeah I know, but I have two children & work full time so I am pretty busy often. So I mainly try to get xl candy by catching from home, unfortunately it’s not super efficient. I also don’t have a phone rocker or anything like that.
If you’d want to take this team in UL Remix, what would you replace Swampert with? Can’t find a perfect replacement. Stunfisk would make it too weak to Fighters. Maybe Politoed?
Toed is probably best but Greedent isn’t as strong in remix since there’s more fighters and no giratinas and Cress. But, also much more Jellicents so it could still have play.

Yeah i think there is no way to deny Charms with bullet seed as a quick move (both 3 Turns) the Game is just inconsistent... Sometimes move goes through, Sometimes not...its only possible with quick moves which have different numbers of Turns.
It's 2021 and one of the strongest Pokemon in the game is a squirrel.

Boost is a bit rough for sure. I treat it like Scrafty and stay in and shield the swamp.

Yup. That’s why Greedent is used to lure them out. I’ve found that most Machamp teams in UL often run Machamp in the lead as well.

Both are solid but I’ve found that I enjoy the bulk of regular a lot
Rank 1 S-Abom has about 10 more hp and defense than non-xl 100iv normal Abom but since you have both as good rank, normal might be better for bulk.
