Do you have a similar recipe like this in your country? I'll be glad to know🤗 Anyway, thanks for watching and don’t forget to give the video a big thumbs up....Happy Cooking❤
@@phils_kitchen In Jamaica we use the self-raising flour and one tsp "baking powder" (raising agent) instead of the yeast (omit the sugar or no), to each pound of flour. Ours may be a little tighter but you can add a bit more baking powder if you like it lighter and we call them fried dumplings. They are so tasty and perfect alone or with stewed anything. My sister, I hope we meet one day, from one palate to another I hope the sun burst forth in your mouth when you bite into them. 😊
Yes, Amagwinya is different, but the idea is almost similar. You can eat Amageinya with acha and even put ground beef, but these ones are better with tea.
I am Cameroonian . It was good . I do add lemon rind for flavoring too.

Hi it looks yummy can I use selfraisng flour instead of yeast please advice if you don't mind
thank youuu🤗 I would reccommend using plain flour with yeast coz they need to puff and just using self raising flour won't make them puff

Thankyou, am happy but can you tell the weight of flour in grams......kgs or metric mesurements.?
Hello, can you tell us how much gram 1 cup is?
Asante sana. These are similar to Mandazi/mambhri just these are ball shaped
Awesome! if I'm using 10 cups of flour do I add 2 tbs of yeast?
one tablespoon is enough👍🏾
Hi Phil. Looks amazing. Your voice over states 6 tbsp sugar, the ingredients list is 5 tbsp.
