Hi, why Vegas 18 pro recognises my GPU (Nvidia GTX 570 type) on the Video setting preferences, whilst it doesn't on the File I/O setting tab? There is something missing there. It is not visible the GPU nor the voice to select the hardware acceleration hardware. I only have 2 clickable voices instead of 3 that I see form other Vegas 18 user videos... Thanx in advance
Thanks bro bein watching you for years helped a lot with my videos just got a i7 8700k cpu pc with 16gb ddr4 ram and a gtx 1080 oc for cheap my first decent pc going to get a 3060ti when the market sorts it self out
i have an amd 5950x 16 core and a rtx 3090 64 gig ram and it still takes forever to render is that normal and i mean and it says and avg of 20 fps on 1080p render i tryed ram or gpu no diff
im having issues with vegas crashing alot, freezes and has the not responding tab.. tried everything i can find including the GPU and ram settings and both still not working. i set ram to 10,000mb of 14,700 total and still crashes
I’ve been really struggling to set up and sort out Vegas pro 18 on my laptop. I’ve been having issues like (NOT RESPONDING) message and crashing all the time. All I’ve got to do is load it up and click a button and it crashes (NOT RESPONDING) can you help please
Alex thanks for the uploads over the years, you have always been my go-to source for tips, may I ask, is there a way to have my editing audio come from my headphones instead of my tv but my desktop still come from the tv?
what about amd GPUs? also, since mine is not nvidia is it safe to still put ram on 0 ? it's not exactly picking up any specific card in my case, just showing "Advanced micro devices, Inc"
what exactly is your AMD GPU? are you sure it's a dedicated GPU and not just integrated graphics? if it is a dedicated GPU, then yes you can still set it to 0.
I render small stuff and my CPU is 70% usage. Appears Vegas Pro 18 doesn't really use the GPU fully. So a 15sec video takes 30sec when on 17 it took 2seconds... Wha?
@@mjojrjr6231 I have GTX 1070 and can edit 4k and 5k videos from GOPRO smoothly, without any problems. I also noticed Vegas has problems exporting 5K videos so im gonna switch to Adobe Premiere Pro
Dynamic ram is only for use in rendering a dynamic ram preview. It does not apply the ram to anything other than pre-rendering a clip.
But I have amd rx560 and it’s not shown in the list. What can I do?
Hey! Why is my rx 560 not shown in sony vegas? I want to use it, to render faster! I already installed new driver and everything..
I'm from India sir and I'm watching you for a long time
Eyy Same!

Alex you are the true master of Sony Vegas
Thanks for the great information. There are so many settings, the "average" producer will end up in a "Home" wearing a straight jacket!
Loved it bro 👍
so simply put zero on dynamic RAM if i use Optimal Graphic Card?
I recently just upgraded my gpu and now its not showing in the gpu acceleration. what can I do?
