    Hello from South Africa 🇿🇦. Loved your clear cut, no bullshit, install video. Well done 👏 boys.
    I was thinking of getting the SST bars, but I think that your wires, cables, etc that come from the handlebars won't fit into that neat covers. it has to be cable tied, but you have infinite adjustment.
    with these it looks like everything looks stock after the install.what was the cable ties for?
    thanks once again and safe riding bud.

    • @RoysMotoVentures
      @RoysMotoVentures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Zip ties were for just incase you needed for holding the wires in place I think. Didn't need to use though. Yeah my brother was looking into changing out the handlebars, but he tried these risers first. He is still contemplating new bars. Everyone has their own position for their arms to be comfortable. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there 👍

    Nice work on the install man. Really detailed. Be curious if y’all like the bar positioning better now.

      My brother said it is better. We just got back from VAMM22 and after the long ride on the highway, he said he thinks he wants more pullback. He's looking into options. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there 👍

    1 year later, does your brother think it was worth the effort to gain the 2 inches? Or does he wish he went straight with the costlier option that allows more flexibility? Thanks for the awesome vid!

      Thanks for watching. The risers definitely made it alot more comfortable and removed most of the pain in my shoulders. I like the looks of the original bars, though I would prefer having a little more play with putting them where i want them. If I were to start over again on a new bike, I would probably go with the new bars instead of the risers, but currently happy enough to leave these as they are.

    Such a clean install. Those plastic pin screw things have come a long way. The ones on my old bike were a PITA. Did the directions say to use the JIS screwdriver? Great video and thanks for sharing.

    Have I got it wrong? They say there’s 2 inches of pullback, but after the install, it looks like 2” of push forward…I.e. the bars look like they’re set 2” further forward.
    But then when you sit on the bike it’s all good…. I’m confused.

      @ericschult1555 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yeah if you look at how they install, it is sorta misleading, it looks like they will push the bars away from you, but what they do is change the angle, so the bars arent straight out anymore, and the grips end up tipped closer to you. it does take a couple of days to get use to the angle of the grips but they do get closer to you.
