@@luciiza_2116 I'm not sure what you mean but I think you may be confusing "feeling/being" with "expressing". Everyone has the right to feel angry. Anger is a natural and necessary emotion. It's harmful to pretend that we don't feel how we feel. It's our responsibility to choose the healthiest ways of expressing our emotions. It can also be very healing to have our anger (or any feelings) validated by others, which is what I was originally thanking John for 🩷
@@curandeira.rising You're right, I did confuse it. The problem for me is in the expression, because so many people do it unskilfully and cause damage with it. Of course there's no problem with having it as an emotion, as it's simply there and may or may not be because of an unrighteousness in the world/other person that it's directed to.
I have a problem with calling it a "right" though because anger has no solid ground, i.e. it is false, illusory. It has projections contained within it. It causes damage.
@@luciiza_2116 I hear you. Unhealthy expressions of anger are at the root of so many personal and societal issues. Personally I don't see anger as false or illusory. All of our emotions serve as information, and they always inform us of something real and true within us. Even when we get angry at something and later realize we were projecting, we only got angry because of something real within us. Being triggered by something is a great gift, as long as we use it to learn more about ourselves. Our mind/perceptions can be illusory, but emotions are always telling us a truth about ourselves.
@@curandeira.rising Nope, emotions are illusory! That's my point. When in the heat of anger, it is watched from a place that isn't angry. You can still make valid points of expression, but without the unnecessary charge
Asking for what I want was huge for me in the last 12 months. I was completely unaware of my passive aggressive behavior, and thinking she should know what I want. Lately, I've been asking directly and she's been responding. It's not always pleasant, but it's always powerful.
This was beautiful and made me cry because I could feel him speaking from his heart and it just beautifully touched mine. It also highlighted how my heart capacity expanded to hold more love and light. I'm in awe.
From experience, narcissists focused on what they want while the real good men out there focused on how they could make my life and the partnership better. Narcissists want you to be vulnerable and kept in pain without them, good men want you to be Athena Of Women and to feel invincible when going about our daily business. Once he can bring something to the table without a personality disorder, I focus on his needs (sexual, spiritual, etc).

He so clearly describes in his list of “men’s craving” the action item list of what women need to do, be more of to honor men with our trust, our power, our surrender, our creativity, our hula mana and nourishment to turn on and fulfill men’s cravings, and complete the inspiration for this group of men.
If I understand his message that wounded men struggle to ask for what they need from the Divine Feminine.
I wondered, if this discomfort stemmed from the habit of unconscious taking and doing harm.
I did not hear the offering of unconditional love, service and the gratitude and a call for respectful, balanced, loving partnership.
It made me realize that only the Divine Masculine can hold space with the Divine Feminine.
In my body, I felt sadness, his message of craving from the men he surrounds himself left me understanding the work is not in fulfilling the ego of cravings but the teaching of divine love, connection, respect, honor, integrity, accountability, courage.
How do we collectively heal the wounding of boys who physically grew into men but have not completed their growth and development into their Divine Masculine.
How do we collectively heal the wounding of girls who physically grew into women but have not completed their growth and development into their Devine Feminine.
I found it interesting, “Don’t settle for our Bullshit.” “We are like dogs, responding to training” “for the reward of the deepest love, and turn on…” “Women, you have every right to be angry“?
Seriously, you approach the Divine Feminine with a plea for Divine partnership and depth of love, connection, creativity with an offering of “your list of cravings and need to be trained in exchange for the deepest love and turn on?”
Maybe, women are done suffering, and anger or the validation to be angry, no longer serves a woman’s creativity, gentle warmth and fierceness.
Maybe, some men will find that some women, are ready to take on more of the insatiable cravings of men. Trying to fill the emptiness.
Maybe some women will shine their light into the focus of self care, self love, healing their souls, loving their children, the earth and all sentient beings into the light and out of the the cravings of war, destructive power, disconnection.
Maybe, the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine will direct and shine their love and light to raise sons into their highest form of Divine Masculinity and model for their daughters the powerful, gentle creativity of the Divine Feminine.

I loved this vulnerability. I never thought that men feel guilty for dominating women for eons and now can't say what they want. It makes perfect sense. It's interesting that most of the people commenting are women. I just bet if the subject was -What Women Crave - women would be the majority watching it too. Men are this simple - they are not as curious about figuring out what they want and are more into just receiving it.
To sum it up he is saying men want to feel the divine feminine and im sure women want to feel the divine masculine. Let go of the roles we play in life, get rid of the needing something from others and just be what you already are.

He says men are simple, yet what they are craving is incredible difficult to provide, to be all these things. Have the spirit move through us in how we move?? I just feel hopeless because I can't be all this. Just like they want women to call out their bullshit, I do think men could help us be more like this. Help us to slow down, and trust, and get back into our femininity.
MindOfHerOwn maybe another generation can get back to femininity but not this generation , it’s to late for this generation as you cannot change people inner core. Hopefully one day in the future women can teach this to future generations and make the change but I don’t see it getting better any time soon, I see it getting worse based on what I see from the young ones today.

@@create773 You are so kind. You moved me to tears. I am on the spectrum so I struggle with all the subtle nuances of relationships plus I don't fall into a set gender or sexual identity. I can't be the kind of woman that Mat talks about. I went undiagnosed until late 40s so I learned to suppress my true self to try and fit in. I'm trying to find my true self again.
MindOfHerOwn I hope you don’t mind if I write back. Anyhow here it is...I think we all shrink back to what society has done to us, all of us not just women. Some men feel just as hopeless, if we try to fit in and the end result is trying to please everyone....that is really impossible. I remember years ago when I was younger I felt that way too, but believe me there is a God that will show us us the way out. Be confident and all you have to do is call on Him, He shows up in ways we cannot explain or even expect...I believe these are His words for you. May God bless you and free you. That was beautiful. Not easy to achieve when looking at what a woman needs to be to survive in this world. But such a sense of calm and warmth came while listening to this. It's worth working towards.

I enjoyed this. It isn’t revelatory in any way. It’s just that it hasn’t been spoken about very much. My main takeaway from John’s speaking about masculine/feminine energy is that this exchange and this vulnerability that must be shared between a couple is a two-way street. I’ve listened to some of his interviews and podcasts and he does stress the importance of men building and maintaining trust with their partner. That’s so important. And communication obviously. Trust and communication are core pillars at the heart of all solid relationships. Be they romantic, personal or professional. But! What John teaches on top of this about the feminine and masculine energy is quite revelatory, reaffirming, new and at the same time familiar. It connects with something men and women, masculine and feminine people feel, but struggle to express. I found this very helpful. 🙏

Surrender is so difficult when men act as if they aren’t phased by anything because they are detached from how they feel
Within themselves. Most men are numbed out. Disconnected from self due to core wounds , usually mother related core wounds. Men act macho but are actually fragile , in the attempt to hide this fragile state , men resist vulnerability. How the hell do u see surrender to a man that’s avoiding being vulnerable and egoless?
I'm a man and what you said is true... but not all are like this. Some are true to their emotions
Vulnerability is strength
hold space and create an environment free from judgement to allow them to express vulnerability.
That’s an excellent observation and a very difficult question for me to answer. It’s frustrating right?
Men are very capable of feeling emotions as intensely as women do, but it is more difficult for some due to conditioning, to express or show them.
There are some men that are very damaged and completely emotionally unavailable (some women too) and I would say that unless that person is trying to get help, or is aware and working on themselves, do not get involved. If red flags are showing up, take notice and move on with kindness xx

I found myself watching her you tube channel and following her story. My heart broke for a beautiful young woman I had never met. Finding her led me to finding you. What I noticed was conscious effort to be present and in self-integrity. That must have been intense !! So much good stuff here beyond just the words.
This is one of the best videos I have listened to in a while. I loved all of it and especially the part where you shared how the Patriarchy behaved prior and that we should not put up with men’s bullshit.
Women usually put up with men’s bullshit when we do not know ourselves and are desperate just to have someone in our lives. There are many levels to this and especially important for us to truly to Know Thyself.
I especially like when you suggested how we move our bodies around y’all, even while making tea. I am so aware of this and also recognize when a man does not respond in appreciation it is time to leave.
It usually means they are not interested in you for true companionship.

What an amazing video. I have been happily married for 10 years to an amazingly awesome man & everything you spoke of is right on. This truly touched me & is kind of scary how well it hit home. My husband & I have a beautiful relationship & we are always striving to make it better & better but there are always things that can be worked on. After listening to you I now know of many different ways I can handle certain situations to make things better between us, the biggest one being how I definitely let him know when I think he screwed up but I don't give him enough credit or attention when he truly tries & is giving me exactly what I want & that isn't fair of me. I know that sometimes I take advantage of or just don't appreciate enough the wonderful man I have in my life all over me thinking he's the same & sees things the same as I do, but that's not true. What is so true is that men & women are different in so many ways & celebrating the differences is an amazing perspective that brings us closer instead of worrying & getting angry over why we don't think the same or see things a certain way or feel the same way. Thank you for speaking from the heart, this gave me a lot of peace & more appreciation for my relationship.
Don't forget that being raised by women. We are taught that our needs are wrong. And we are taught to serve.
Must be intetesting thing to see,cause i have seen the opposite. The Girls are told what they want and that their needs come last and are wrong as well as the boys are valued much more than the girls so much so that girls are darn near not protected.

I can hear that he spoke out of his heart and I appreciate his openness. However I feel like that most of the things he mentioned are also characteristics that I look for in a man and in a relationship. Especcially the part about vulnerability and feeling like the other person "needs" us, or is in pain when we aren't with them. I think that this desire to feel needed by a partner is not strictly gendered but goes both ways.
Either way, it is always a good thing to hear another persons perspective.
Honestly #1 is the most important to me, and I'm a very not "typical" man. I'm a bit if a femme, I don't watch sports, I can talk about my feelings, etc. But I'm a man.
Most of my youth I felt like there was no real difference between men and women and little by little I can understand as I understood myself more and more of that that was complete foolishness. It's okay for us to be different, even with our endless variety we're not the same.

I deeply "got" and felt the resonance of nearly everything you said and I'm excited to ponder on it further and explore ways to put it into action... except for one point that turned me all the way off and had me blocking that flow as though my identity depended on it: I wonder if there is a way you might unpack the "surrender" idea?
If that's an inate and, presumably you think "natural" or "healthy" impulse to crave a woman's "surrender", and not just another learned behaviour, I'd like to understand it. Feels like everything we've been fighting so hard and so long to overcome the burden of like a solid wall of dangerous bullshit
I have this exact same question. It can be literally physically (nevermind emotionally) dangerous for women to surrender to the wrong person.

I don’t think women understand how much men don’t really care about your education, your job or how much money you make. We care more about what kind of person you and and how you treat us and others. I see women on dating sites writing all these things about their great job and life, lawyer, doctors etc and a lot of us men just swipe left because of that. For women it’s the opposite so you all really need to understand how men thinks or marriage rates will continue to drop and there will be a lot of unmarried, unhappy, and childless 40 and 50 year olds.
