There are so many little things that CDPR did so right that are just great icing it's wonderful but they screwed up a few major elements (and loads of minor) of the cake that has caused the issues. Some bits of the game are awesome (music, news, car interiors, you name it) but some core bits are totally broken or missing. I loved it for 100 hrs bugs and all (but I am mad for that kind of future vibe), but it could have and should have been so much better - it needed delaying for another year at least imo for us to get what we wanted, and were promised - led to expect from the ever present CDPR marketing team.

Would actually solve the police suddenly teleporting to you issue. If the area isnt richy, have most of the citizens start blasting you. With killing a certain amount activating a timer for maxtac to come in. Wouldve also been cool if areas that are protected by certain groups like 6th street had them pull up with their big guns instead of max tech. 2 humvies mounted with machine guns with passagers also armed with defenders nodded for elemental damage.
Yeah Combat Cab is advertised and part of the promo art but never seen in the game - so yeah an early part of the game dev cycle (they figured it would be in) before they chopped it into bits I am thinking

Watch dogs legion did something along these lines. But it would have been a ton of effort to put this into the game and clearly time was tight as it was. Also adding the watch dogs glitches to the mix wouldn't have helped the situation. That being said, it would have been nice if the npc AI was just a bit more sophisticated. I really try to be immersed and still sometimes the sheer stupidity of npcs takes me right out.
Canonically, Pacifica _is_ outside NCPD jurisdiction. How do you think Mayor Rhyne managed to cut down NC's crime rate so much? Just cut out Pacifica, it no longer counts!

@@PlebNC If you climb up onto the tracks and wait for the train to come around, you can literally do that. I had never seen the trains until the other day, when I got hit by one, which ended with my V standing up and riding on top.
@@TI99Kitty I'm aware. You can break out of the Wattson District during the prologue prior to the Heist by climbing to the overhead station near the Afterlife club then ride it south. It'll take you through the map boundary but it'll fail to respawn you allowing access to the whole map early. Found that in launch week. No idea if it's been patched since though.

Ehhh there's that one fast travel terminal you need for the trophy hahah But yeah, probably lots of scrapped content up there even a couple of missions beyond that one story one would be ok.
Metro and magnetic carts we can sometimes see over the streets. There are some fast travel locations where n-cart stations are and some unfinished buildings that were probably supposed to be stations. It would've been a much more immersive way of fast-travel but, unfortunately, it was trailer-only/scrapped.
I find it interesting that the violent sound effects are much louder than the voices, It reminds me of real life, especially when a TV film goes on commercial break.
The best part about cyberpunk has always been it’s world and world building. I absolutely believe that a dystopian world like that would have informational campaigns like this.
You're making me realise how much TV content I missed in this game, even though I deliberately sat down in Vs apartment and watched TV for 1 hour straight, all channels. Is it just me or do they add this additional TV content bit by bit with every hotfix or update?
Wild dogs and dogs living on the streets - yes. The reason for that were destructive epidemies of animal-transmitted diseases in high population density areas. In NC, first, they got rid of the birds (the infamous Avian Extermination Act), then wild dogs and cats. But many breeds still exist and new ones were created, although they are often fitted with cyberware and bioengineered excessively. Basically - only the rich can afford a dog in Night City and after all the "enhancements", I'm not sure these are really dogs anymore. They cost a lot to buy and a lot to live with them (1000 eurodolars a month in taxes, which is quite a lot, apparently + all the costs of food, ripper and veterinarian services and so on). Oh, and this is a cartoon so having dogs in it is not really that big of a problem.
Funny thing is that you see children walking around by themselves in game but In real life where it's actually much safer in comparison to this game (I'm not saying it's safe irl I'm just saying compared to this games world it is) yet in real life we rarely see children walking around by themselves at least in America
