im not suprised anymore that the game took so long. there is so many small details and worldbuilding in everything. like jesus christ, a 5 ep animated children show to learn the basics of night city, on tv channels that most players don't even know they can watch. name 1 other game that goes that length

After watching all of the safe and sound videos I have to say that at this is some of the best world building I've ever seen in a game despite cyberpunk shortcomings which what kind of caused by being more peer pressure if anything else Seriously you really do get the feeling of Amusement and somewhat disturbed by how this is just practically the norm cybernetically enhanced madmen with a gatling gun for an arm the hearing sensitivity of a bat and the Endurance of a literal off road 4x4 Land Rover, police officers so corrupt it's now expected of them to basically ask for a bribe to not put you in critical condition, complete disregard for life in general considering the paramedics are armed and will actually shoot you if you get in there way and automatic defence systems Which are actively know to not be able to tell the difference between friend or foe and can only tell off of rapid movement and gunfire probably resulting in hundreds of deaths alone of civilians, oh and of course the fact that anyway out of night city and cities like it it's basically Mad Max with a cyberpunk aesthetic due to the massive environmental damage on the world as a whole complete with bloodthirsty Nomads and giant sandstorms. Honestly some of the best world building work I seen in a game ever considering I I haven't played cyberpunk myself but you can just tell it's absolutely full to the Brim of this stuff and I love it it really does set the underline to another game a seemingly appreciate all your dreams come come true but in reality a corrupt techno hell who where it's almost expected of you to die in the middle of the street for one reason or another whether that be from some techno enhance madman or their own police force Like I said before some damn good worldbuilding congratulations cyberpunk 2077 I forgive you for you're shortcomings because 95% of the where beyond your control anyway P.s I really hope this just stay as a gritty but fictional concept and *NOT* a prediction of the future

Reminds me of the occasional booby-trapped apartment in DX:HR and DX:MD. The former having an arms-dealer's unassuming apartment with mines and a locked security door in the bedroom, and the latter having a security system that locks you inside with a timed gas apparatus where you have to follow the wires to properly disable. The first time I disabled it I only had 0.48 seconds remaining on the timer.
