Hey brother I drilled mine to 3/32 but definitely getting some fuel starvation at 1/4 especially going uphill. Going with the radium jet venturi replacement
Question were u able to compress the fp assembly enough to install it back in the car? I had tower the fuel pump in the map holder. Was curious if u had this problem?
Can u please help man my car will start and will stay on if I rev it but the car won’t stay running it’ll sound choppy and turn off and I think it’s low fuel pressure how can I fix it
The black hose that comes with the fuel pump is just a generic hose, not specifically meant to replace the return. Honestly you can try and use it yourself, but it may not be the correct length or may kink when you install the pump housing. Keep in mind the pump housing compresses on the springs when you put it back in the tank.
www.summitracing.com/parts/abt-cfd-504 something like this. Call up MAPerformance and see if they sell something similar for cheaper. Or search Amazon, but this is essentially the part.
@@mpbiv421 could you please tell me the drill bit size in mm? And what the maximum size that we can use it? I have used 2.5mm to drill the siphon. Is that ok?
Absolutely GREAT walkthrough

did you ever install the redium jet replacement? How did it go if you did?

Awesome Vid, Thanks mate :)

You didn't have to cut that corrogated return did you? 😉
Where did you get that fitting for the wires?
Can I drill the Venturi and run it with the stock pump? I don’t want to have to drill it out in the parking lot at my tuner

I upgraded my cams and that was happening, they told me I needed a mivac delete but now it's running good again. You got cams?
also, couldnt the black hose int he kit be used for the return line? is that not what its there for?

@@mpbiv421 so map just got back to me. Apparently the black hose is for the fuel return. But they said it doesn’t always require to be used
Do we have to modify the siphon and open it up for this fuel pump upgrade or can leave it as is?
D Singh you have to modify the siphon. My tuner told me to drill it to 5/32”
More like 17:45 what is that part called that to drilling a whole for ?
Step drill
Minute 18:30 what is that part called that the wiring is going thru ?

@@mpbiv421 thank you so much
What size drill bit was it?
I started with 3/32, but I recall going up to 1/8 in the end
How's the drill size working so far? Do you have any issue after drilling the siphon?

Great in depth video but It aint necessary to take apart all that shit just saying
