Hey ya'll, just thought I'd drop by and say a few things here: This was indeed the last episode of Casino History I made before going on an "indefinite" hiatus after I graduated high school and got a job working for retail. The next episode was supposed to be about the Luxor but unfortunately I had no motivation to work on this series anymore at that point. I've been having thoughts on whether I should revive this series or not, maybe even recreate higher quality versions of the previous episodes. I will absolutely agree with every one of you that my narration in most of these videos were absolutely horrendous and there have been plenty of misinformation strewn throughout most of them. I recommend taking this series with a grain of salt. For some reason I thought doing tons of research, scripting, narrating, and editing entire 10-20 minute video essays on casinos with a significant amount of history in one single WEEK (or at least 2 weeks after the Bellagio episode) was a good idea. I should've lengthened the upload schedule back then so I could've worked on them more, bettering the quality by a bit without feeling rushed. With all that being said, I've been enjoying reading all of your comments, talking about your stories/thoughts on these places. I heavily regret deleting my original channel back in 2022 out of my personal frustration with social media. There were so many nice comments on these videos from people who went to and even worked in these casinos back then. Instead of deleting my channel, I should've listened to the criticism and worked on becoming a better TH-camr and tried to improve my mental health during that time. While I don't make Casino History videos anymore, I've been learning from them and seeing how I can make my videos better, including having better narration and fact-checking any information in case I got anything wrong. That's all I pretty much have to say. Sorry for the wall of words but it was just something I've been wanting to talk about for a while. Anyways, hope everyone has a good day ^.^
Fellow old-school Vegas lover here - good job on these! You've done a great job with the research, and I have no doubt your narration skills will get better on future projects. Finding out you're as young as you are (I assumed mid-20s) seems like your future is bright. I'm subscribed, and I hope you'll find some time to do more of the series when you have more time/motivation.
I stayed here in June of 1996 and remember the pool played music underwater. Just a random tidbit I remembered while watching this. I remember going under water and hearing music which I was not expecting.
And then when we thought the HR name in Vegas was done forever, like 6 months after this video was first posted, in Dec 2021, HR said they're purchasing the Mirage and coming back to Vegas! LOLL!
That's why i specialize only in crypto trading, i have made up to $10,300 profit and it's been sent to my portfolio every week, Expert Patrick Archie is amazing
I have also been trading with him, the profit are secured if that's your fear, over a 85% return on your investment directly sent to your wallet, I am a living testimony of his work
I'm not surprised because I've made a huge profit since i started investing with him, crypto trading and other investment's are very profitable with Mr Patrick Archie
Funny seeing that MGM-Mirage had once considered buying the Hard Rock since the Hard Rock has purchased the Mirage. While the original wasn’t that far off the Strip, it was in a fairly undesirable area. Truthfully, anything outside of the Strip-based properties drop off rapidly to the east and west and that lack of development can be a big limiting factor to people visiting. Palms and Rio suffer similarly. You either hope there is a shuttle from the Strip or you drive there. It’s not that distant a walk, it’s just like you start getting into the seedier areas; just like you do going north of the Strat.
The hard rock was located in a bad place. It was a couple of miles off of the strip. It never got any foot traffic. The Mohegan sun, which bought out the hard rock, is finding this out now.
Your videos are very informative but your commentary is painful to listen to. It sounds like you are doing a fifteen minute presentation in ten minutes.

And now the Mirage is closing to make way for a new Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Vegas. Every "new" beginning comes from some other's end.

I would love to get into the nft market but it's expensive with the gas price alone, something could cost $18 but the gas could be over $400
1 week I've spent 1 eth on gas

Lol true
Not really the same Hard Rock though.
So sad, no mention of Warwick Stone being the key designer of the hard rock memorabilia displays and a family member of the Morton family
What do you mean the finale? so there's no more to see no history???
Love Hard Rock! I go to the ones in Florida. Very informative video, thumbs up 👍
Got 2 royals in Video Poker. One in 1995 and one in 2016. Both at Hard Rock Vegas. Always won there.
