    Hi Snigdha your video is very helpful for a pet parent like me...who wants to travel with pet...for me it was extra helpful because even I am from Agartala...want to travel with my girl...she is a shih tzu...but very hesitant to put her in cargo and she weighs around 6kg....so I want to know about your cargo experience and how safe it is for our babies...and what was your experience when you traveled back from Agartala...how was your Agartala airport experience with your baby?Thank you for the vlog.

      Hi Rumi, My Leo was very anxious during the journey and was barking through out. After reaching home she was doing fine. Coming to the point of returning back, I am still in Agartala and when I leave I have to leave with just her memories because I lost her few months back. It breaks my heart every single day to live without her. I know how difficult it was for me when I decided to travel with her via flight due to lack of information. I am glad atleast i could pet parents by providing some information. Give ur baby shih tzu a tight hug from me. Safe journey!! ♥️

    Hi, very informative video , thanks for sharing. I have carried my pet from Bangalore to Jaipur once but now while returning back there is no direct flight and it's via Mumbai. But the problem is there is only 50 min layover. Are you sure that all Airindia flights we have to re checkin ? Do you have any info or contact whom I can ask about this cause if I have to do the whole procedure again than 50 min are not enough.... Thanks.
    Also I would like to add in your video that if the weight of the pet+crate is over 30kg than they don't let you checkin the pet at airport, you have to go to Airindia cargo in Bangalore which is like 1-2km from the airport.

    • @SnigdhaChakraborty

      @SnigdhaChakraborty  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am glad to help you! I understand how much stressful it is to leave our babies in a cargo for such a long time. Coming to your questions:
      Leo was a little anxious after she reached the destination airport which became quite normal when she was out of the crate and had some water.
      There is air flow in the cargo. So when there is a live animal travelling in the flight they will turn the AC on. So you can remind the flight attendant once that you have a pet with you when you board the flight.
      There should be a good gap between ur pets meal before the flight like around 8 to 9 hours. Stop giving water 3 to 4 hr before the flight to avoid any poop pee inside the crate.
      I hope this helps! Have a safe journey!! 🙂

    When u say cargo.. does it mean the dog will travel in the same plane or in different cargo plane.. secondly is cargo travel safe for pets..many people prefer cabin or train travel instead of cargo..why is that?

    • @SnigdhaChakraborty
      @SnigdhaChakraborty  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the pet will travel in the same plane. In my home town we don’t have 1st class AC train. We have only 3tier AC and as my dog was above 5 kg, they won’t allow in the cabin. So I had no other option. My dog was really anxious as the journey was long. I would myself prefer train over flight. If the pet’s nature is calmer and has experience in travel and the flight distance is shorter than flight could be an option.

      1. Yes the timing will be sufficient to do the process again. Ask any staff to help if the queue is long.
      2. Before security check only the process for ur pet will be done and they will take ur pet.
      3. Once u reach Delhi, reach out to the airlines authority and check with them. In most cases they bring the pet to you.

      Thats a difficult question to answer. But many pets do travel by air and regarding the airflow they do have ac flowing down there. To double check you can let the cabin crew know that you have a pet down there and request them to check the airflow! If ur pet is less than 5 kg you can carry in the cabin itself with you! You can get it from any pet store. You can check “Headsup for tails” website as well. Measure the length and height of ur dog and buy the crate accordingly. Hope this helps.

    How much I have to pay if my dog is 15 kg

      15*600. You also need to add the weight of the crate.

      @@SnigdhaChakraborty you did big time I was calling people and planning to go till d airport which is way far from me . Thanks a ton. ❤ one last question do I have to go one hour prior becoz of the pets?

    • @SnigdhaChakraborty
      @SnigdhaChakraborty  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would suggest to go 3 to 4 hour prior because the confirmation which comes from the pilot takes takes. As you have two kitties please go as early as possible. Because AirIndia allows only two pets to board in a flight. So if someone comes with their pet in the same flight before you, it might create trouble for you!
