I wouldn’t have known about those activity, otherwise! Also I thoroughly don’t recommend, driving and droning. It’s definitely ended not very well a number of times 😂 only do it on empty forestry roads!

Thank you very much for joining recently. There is definitely so much to do up here when prepared. I’ve got a mix of Time-lapse and real-time Northern Lights, real time is really quite difficult to capture with the equipment I’ve got with me, but I do have some really good videos of it coming up
Just WOW! What an amazing day. You are truly living your best life. Thanks so much for sharing it with us! Just stunning northern lights pics. Be safe. Best wishes from New Zealand.

Well, thank you very much for sticking through even the days with poor audio! I was very happy with the timelapse results! And it was lovely meeting Kinging-it
Super episode Alex. Dog sleighing, ski lifts, Northern Lights, the adventure really has kicked off now. Amazing part of the world. Thanks for taking us along.
@@MispronouncedAdventures did a bit of Norway summer 95. they used to have a bobsleigh with wheels down the luge which was good, actually remembered when top gear did it over the last couple of years. Dont know if they have a winter ride along, may be a bit quicker than the dogs ?
Wasn’t sure if Norway in the winter was something I ever wanted to do, because of how crazy cold it gets but I’m sold now! Great job on capturing all the unique experiences - Andrew
Fantastic episode Alex. That timelapse of the Northern lights was amazing and that dog sleighing looked like great fun. cant wait to see the rest of the adventure👍
Superb!! You took me straight back to 2020 when I saw the lights for the first time in Kiruna, Abisko and Nikkoluokta. Such incredible 'feels' that are so hard to describe. I didn't know about the chair lift either so missed that, but I think that just means... I have to go back! Thanks for bringing the smile back to my face. :)😇🙏
I’m glad you enjoyed it. It’s such a wonderful part of the world to see the aurora and definitely always a special first time seeing them. This was definitely the most powerful display I’ve ever seen
Thank you. The Roamer video is more of a educational video of lithium batteries overall and looking at the science behind when it’s charging in low temps.
Wow 2 things on my bucket list and what a simply stunning pace to do them! Ive got my own crazy Huskie so im going to give that link a try and see if i cn get some tips to help calm him down. Very jealous right now of your perfect day, safe travels Alex and cant wait for the next episode.

Finally catching up with some episodes mate and as usual, pure class all the way! Love your style and cinematography. Got a long way to go until we can get anywhere near your standard!
It’s truly an amazing place I can’t wait to get back for another season. The Vario are great, it has been made for decades and comes in so many variations. I didn’t realise they weren’t in the states.
Thank you! I have to ambit I was a big jealous from a camera nerd point of the view of Craigs Sony body, with its far higher useable ISO range for real time aurora.
Wow! I'd love to see the northern lights properly. I shouldn't complain though. I mean, I grew up in the south of Scotland and saw a slightly green smudge in the sky once, so hey ho!
Yeah I’ve seen them many times in scotland but often only a green smudge on the northern horizon. It’s amazing how quick and bright they are up in the Nordics.
I didn’t come across any doggy farts to be honest! I know Craig and Amie’s team was! Although I was the first team and they were the last team, so they have farts of all the teams 😂
I took my daughter a few years back it was magical, took the dog sled team out as you did, she fell asleep on a frozen lake while we went round the lake with the dogs, did the skidoo thing that was cool as well she loved it all. Drive safe Alex and enjoy!
Fabulous experience Alex. Must of been great fun with the huskies. As you were with the tour guide, what did she think of your driving haha. As for the Northern Lights, that was a unbelievable display. Great to see you having a fantastic time exploring the Great North. Brilliant Adventures Bud 👏 🙌

Here’s the thing about the cabin heater: It’s more efficient if you recirculate the air but does your recirculating have a timeout? Many vehicles have that and that‘s very annoying, usually needs to have settings changed.

Awesome video Alex. Having seen your previous videos and the couple so far I would love to go up to Scandinavia in winter. We spent seven weeks there last summer and it was brilliant, but winter just throws another dimension into it. However, I have a 7.5m Adria motorhome. Do you see many motorhomes up there at this time of year or is it mainly vans?
If I’m honest, you see, minimal of both campervans and motorhomes. But you do still definitely see both of them around. Just for the British campervans and motorhomes a few considerations need to be made for the engines, particularly

They definitely are, but nice to see different approach to dog sledding. They love to run but it kind of stresses them when they’re not allowed to all or have to wait so interesting to see their training method to relieve stress.
I am very puzzled about how you folks are having to need special equipment to start your vehicles un Europe. We live in Western Québec, and my wife has no issues starting her suv with no special equipment at -30. We have a Ford Escape. Never had trouble starting it in the cold. I don't even know if we have a block heater for it.
I’d guess North American engine and Europe engines are pretty different. For vans and bigger car most of diesel here but are smaller engines like 2L vs North American which guess are larger and petrol more often? Not that I know what the difference is there But European engines will start in the extreme cold in -20 or -30, but starting from cold in those conditions is hundreds of times more wear and stress on the engine and its components that are warm start. So block heaters are used for ease of starting and long-term health of the engine. But definitely on some of the colder days -25c without pre-heating some vehicle engines will not turn over.
@@MispronouncedAdventures Actually, that is a good point. Our cars here rely more on petrol engines than diesel. (I asked my wife just now, and yes we have a block heater.) How you use handheld camera is not so good . fast movement and short sequences. gets very messy. Otherwise very good video.

If You are out driving with someone else...He who has the most reliable car/van...Should always drive last...Then no need driving back if their car breaks down.
Usually, I travel alone and there’s no particular reason to think one vehicle will be more unreliable than the other
