Instead of rotating the tap so much you can use half turn tap to open and close , so you can turn the servo for only 90 degrees, or you can use a solenoid valve with sensor instead of complicated setup, which you need to water proof also .
Solenoid valve are blocked after some time due to small dirt and algae

What is the black thing that you fitted in pipe pls tell fast
It is just ablack tape.If you do not attach it then the IR sensor will always get IR light signals even if you do not place your hand beneath the tap as the mouth of the tap is Whitish in colour.The black tape absotbs the Extra IR light so that it can function properly.

U could have used a small pump instead of opening the tap via a motor...
using a pump to dispense water is direct than using motor which opens the tap...then we get water
Sensor could have been connected to the mini water pump....as simple as that bro!
