- Here's Paper Mario: The Origami King, the newest Paper Mario game on the Nintendo Switch, but horribly and hilariously Google translated into "Book of Mario: King of Miami"
Today, we journey through Overlook Tower, heading to Jean Pierre the 12th, the Colored Pencils boss! We run into some toads with some interesting opinions, learn more about Bolivia's (Olivia's) past, have great adventures in an elevator, and explore the Tower on our way to the boss!
You don't have to watch these episodes in order, and you can watch any episode you'd like without watching the others, but I REALLY recommend watching the previous episode before or after this video, because the dialogue in that one was probably one of my favourites so far, the dialogue in the previous episode was absolutely insane: • Horribly Google Transl...
The "Book of Mario" series is a series of Paper Mario games that have been translated through several languages, and the result is hilariously bad dialogue that slightly resembles what we started with. Many Book of Mario translations for past Paper Mario games have made me cry of laughter many times, so I decided to start working on making a Book of Mario translation for the newest entry in the Paper Mario series, and thus, Book of Mario: King of Miami was born! I hope this series brings you as much joy as laughter as it has to me :)
Paper Mario: The Origami King was a game with fun gameplay, interesting boss fight mechanics, a unique combat system, and a LOT of dialogue. Olivia is constantly popping up to give you very helpful and very useful information. Olivia in Paper Mario: The Origami King is VERY insightful. You also have this cool Bob-omb named Bobby that joins you on your journey to stop King Olly.

How much has been completed?
At the time of posting this, the first streamer is completely done and some of the second streamer is done! What is this?
Book of Mario: King of Miami is a (work in progress) horribly translated version of Paper Mario: The Origami King, where all of the game's text is taken, translated through many languages, and out comes text that remotely resembles its original meaning. It was originally inspired by the "Book of Mario" series that did the same thing on the original Mario games.
When will this release?
Public releases will be available in the near future! You can see updates and release dates on the subreddit. I feel like there's some deep lore between Bolivia and Barney 1. Bolivia seems to know them from the war, but hasn't seen them since they joined King Olly to bring freedom to the land. When they meet again atop the tower, Bolivia says "Of course he sent you" like she expected Olly to send Barney to fight them and has some regrets about battling her former friend.
After Mario literally kills Barney with his 1000 Infernal Air Sleeves attack, Bolivia mentions that "it hurts so much" as if she is sad that Barney had to die. She also says that although Barney wasn't a good man, he was a good man. Maybe this is the start of a new character art for Bolivia where she realizes that peace and freedom is the right path?
That or she just keeps being a bloodthirsty Wall Street investor.

So today we met Barney 1, a collective entity who hates the Philistines and their friends and gives Mario drawing lessons.
Apparently they once went by the name of Zhang Yang Cake and were an old war buddy of Bolivia's before they sided with King Olly and his quest to bring peace and freedom.
I love this summary so much 😂 Barney 1 was such a hilarious character

Watching this makes me really wanna see what a Book of Mario would look like for Color Splash. It's personally one of my favorites in the Paper Mario series.
So Bolivia use to be acquainted with one of the bosses? I wonder how many other ones she was formerly friends with. And, I guess it WOULD make sense for Bolivia to know "Barney" from her war days. He shoots missiles, and in one of the earlier episodes, she talked about spreading/ throwing bombs everywhere. I guess they blew up the country together.

We got bolivia and artillery piece known as "Barney 1" in the war, reunited on Tower, just for Barney 1 to be destroyed by their former friend. Truly a sad story which is portrayed in "Book Of Mario: King of Miami".
Fun fact if you talk to the toads well you have a goomba stuck on your back you get different dialogue and if you get a hint from Olivia well a goomba is stuck on your back you also get different hint dialogue

I think that with the snake in the train part... she has war flashbacks, her war partners might have died from a snake while they were riding a train towards the blue sea, so she has PTSD.
