For what it's worth, while Stark and Thanos haven't met per se, it is heavily implied/outright stated they're vaguely aware of each other's existence and have been for a while. So not quite "knowing" each other, but knowing /of/ each other. This did confuse me at first and I had to have it explained to me by someone more observant than I.

All I need to do in order to get a successful TH-cam video nowadays is do a thumbnail with Captain Marvel, the Thirteenth Doctor or Rey in it, write "Agenda?" in bold caps then upload. Bang. I have a thriving TH-cam channel built entirely on clickbait. I hate it so much, especially when channels can get away with clickbait constantly whilst smaller channels struggle.

lol this guy reminds me of this friend I had in high school. He would constantly spout bullshit about features in upcoming games (SSBB having character costumes that granted special effects, for instance), plot points in upcoming books (such as Harry Potter), or unlockables in existing video games (you could unlock Wario in Mario Sunshine, and he shot fire. You could also visit like 7 other complete islands just as big and filled-out as Delphino. One was an Oktorok, and had Zelda enemies in it.) with 100% confidence, as if he was saying something as incontrovertible as "dogs are mammals" or "cars have wheels." When reminded of these conversations later, he would vehemently deny ever having made ANY of these claims.
I'm pretty sure he was a compulsive liar.

First time I watched the movie I thought nothing of it, but re-watching it with this new info really made me think "Holy shit, Wolverine is actually not in this movie at all!"
