That is just the cutest thing! I was watching A LOT of tiny home videos but it's pretty clear that actually travelling with them would be, not the best idea at all. Small AND safe for travel, so cool.
Keep up the in-depth videos! We bought a 2019 airstream from colonial site unseen (never been in a modern airstream). We still reference the 2017 video and highly recommend Nick.
Without a doubt you do the best RV reviews on the internet!!! I love the sport 22FB. However, I do wish that Airstream would make the water heater AC/Propane. Propane only is annoying. Again thanks for the great review! I hope to buy an Airstream soon to replace our little T@B trailer.
haha that was fun. I really like the beginning and end of the video. Nice walk thru on this nice Bambi Sport. It's that time of year again 😊 Great job everybody!
Patrick you Always give a great presentation of Airstream models.Creative opening, you got my attention. I learn so much product info from listening to you. Saw this very model at RV show in NH today. Really impressed with how open and spacious it is given smaller size. The locker storage good choice to acheive the roomier feel. My only caveat, a larger size refrigerator. By moving TV to bedroom area it could provide space for higher fridge. Tks for indepth tour.
I love this one! I struggle with more space or more fun. I feel like the smaller the trailer, the more parks you have access to. This would be all I need. 💜
I loved the intro! That is an excellent layout in the 22FB Sport I think. It is very like the 23FB layout. To my European eyes the interior design is lovely to look at as well with the Sport models. Airstream are light-years ahead of the other USA manufacturers with their interiors.
Love your videos! Saw one of these at The Barrett Jackson Car show out here in Scottsdale AZ. Great little camper. But your Reviews of them are Outstanding!
We gonna be really demanding now on your next videos with that opening Patrick ;) Great Video as usual !! The time you spent explaining in full detail every parts is so nice from you and also so interesting for us in making our choice. You truly are an adorable & professional man. Not interested in the Sport 22FB (enjoyed all the video though).. but.you might have me with one Globetrotter 27FB twin soon ;) Wishing you an excellent day Superman to you and all your team!
I know I often check your stock....but more interested about the Dublin Slate/Dark Walnut 27FB Twin than the ones you have right now even thought the London interior is not bad at all but a bit way too much IKEA style for my liking....Just wish we could get the London light grey fabrics instead of the Dublin darker grey...it would have look so much ligthter and stylish with those dark walnut cabinets/walls....but heard on your video we can not .....Anyway....Will send you an email as will need more details...No rush...Looking to get one september/October 2019
Wow Patrick... looking good!!I have watched for a long time, love that accent! I’m a Texan, always appreciate all accents. You’ve slimmed down and cut those beautiful curls off and now your “skateboarding” - love it the new look and Skater Man status!. I know that had to be a dare, there is a story to the “Skater-boy” fun! I do love Airstreams - I have decided to pause on my RV life- due to a move and changing my career, but just like so many say-you are the reason one day I will buy an Airstream and I might even buy on from you. Well...long drive from Colorado, but I’ll make sure to check all s/he says matches your knowledge- so thank you for doing such a great job- and seriously love’n the new look- Short-haired Fit Skater Man. HHHHHO000WWWWDDDDYYYYY ! :D
this is how a true salesperson should be. knowledgeable & detail oriented, so customers can respect & trust your opinion. I've bought several luxury (& one exotic) cars in my life & it's plain embarrassing when you go to the dealership (used or new) & you know more than the sales person.
Excellent presentation!, very thurough, and as always amazing body... the best. Great jod explaining everything, my favorite spokes person. Keep up the great work, hope you got what you want!.
Quick question. When did Airstream start pre wiring for backup cameras? Wondering about a 2012 International Serenity? We love the information you provide!
Always look forward to your new reviews Patrick... YOUR THE BEST... curious to know if you own an AIRSTREAM, if so what type and model?...have enjoyed also, your evolving into one of the BEST REPS that Colonial has to offer... Continued abundance in 2019... if I ever get up your way, I would enjoy meeting you and get some tours!ALL THE BEST
This is one of my favorite airstreams but whoo at 58k this will remain a dream for the time being. Meanwhile, to add to my personal airstream fund, anybody here need a kidney? I've got one to spare? Hahahahaha Nice walk-through.
Hi Patrick. We are debating between flying cloud 19 bc and sport 22 fb we are leaning towards the 22 sport but can’t seem to understand the difference in major equipment (attributes beyond size floor plan and trim) for instance the ac, propane water heater, fan for circulation can you help us?
Thanks for the message. I would love the opportunity to sell you your Airstream. There are over 100 differences between the 19CB Flying Cloud and the 22FB Sport. Please call me when you can so I can go over the differences. 800-265-9019.
Another great video, can you describe the function of the red switch on the side of the refrigerator please? Specifically which position does what? Thank you.
Here in FLA, there is a couple that used to rent out, setup included, gorgeous Airstreams at ur resort site for $350 per day/night. U had to pay for ur site rental fee seperately They now rent them out only for photoshoots. Good luck.
I stayed at a larger Airstream for 4 nights on Maui island. For someone who's never been in a trailer before, it took a little adjusting, but overall a very good experience and idea!
Since you mentioned no bumper and weight distribution, what do you recommend for bike racks with this trailer I’ve seen a bike rack above the propane tanks What are your thoughts?
Airstream uses 5/8" tongue and groove exposure 1 grade plywood flooring with exterior perimeters coated with an anti-wick substance. The exposure grade 1 plywood with water boiled proof type glue is known for its durability when exposed to weather, water and moisture for long periods of time without de-laminating.
Colonial Airstream - Thank you for your response... But in my prior airstream, purchased used about 7 years old, my foot went through the bathroom floor roughly 3 years after I bought it. Turns out plywood rots when wet, I was told the entire sub-floor needed to be replaced as it was spongy in several other spots. Turns out the flooring wasn’t even the mildew resistant type, just plain plywood. Great video! You do excellent work!
Thank you for watching. I am sorry to hear of your past experience. The floor must have been exposed to water for a long time. Had the previous owner mentioned anything?
Colonial Airstream - No, but when I went back to look st the receipts and documentation he had CLEARLY marked "AS-IS" LOL! I sold it to the shop that gave me the repair quote as they ‘flip’ them. I bought another used one, 23’ FB, and it was in good shape until I kinda drug its bum over some rocks and ripped up the back end. I’ve been looking for a new or used one, but due to my experiences my wish list keeps growing. Thanks again!
The composite floor will be in our 2020 model. Also there will be no more sport models the are called just Bambi now. The 22 ft will also be wider. We also will have all electric refrigerators no more gas options for the fridge. Thicker flooring heavy duty redesigned lockers. Just to name a few changes. If anyone including Patrick had any questions or concerns feel free to ask. I am a veteran employee of airstream I work in quality final release on the sport line so will be glad to help
I enjoyed the presentation and appreciated the MSRP and Lay Out of the Airstream in the beginning of the presentation. I recently did a walk through of the 22 sport and the dining area is a difficult fit for six feet two hundred pounds. My grandson, daughter and myself were rather uncomfortable in this tight squeeze. My grandson is 7 years and slender and my daughter very fit and petite. :-(
Tim, Thank you for the message and for the kind words. I have had a few customers order a smaller custom table top from tablelegs.com to modify the dinette seating for their won individual comfort. The smaller table tops also can still work as a support for the bed when folded down.
I'm old enough to remember when Airstream meant quality. I've read so many horror stories about people with new airstreams shoddy quality things don't work things broken. I've read where a lot of dealers aren't interested in helping after the sale. Years ago you never heard that about Airstream. For the money they cost today you'd think everything would be absolutely perfect service would be spectacular and dealers would be helpful. Just sayin'
If years ago there were internet forums and TH-cam you would have heard stuff too. Airstream is still well built. Honestly I think they are better than ever before.
There's car & trucks for 60 grand don't see you complaining . You can live in these full time .... Swear most of you want high quality and everything for pennies
Not just a video, this is a walk-through. A lot better then what you get at most dealerships.
Thank you very much Rick.

Because of Patrick Botticelli, I bought the Airstream Sport 16 then the 22 afterwards. Excellent walk throughs on all your videos. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Thanks, I sell them here too, at Colonial Airstream.
I love these videos! Sometimes I watch them for hours!
Thank you.
Patrick is the man when it comes to Airstream.

You can buy add on heat-element for the awoods water heaters that gives you the electric heat option to manage your propane consumption.
Yes, it is available aftermarket.

Best & most informative airstream walkthrough video I’ve seen yet!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much. looking forward to your visit.

Great "birds eye view" on the floor plan. Hope you'll do on every model.
Thank you. I like the idea too.
The one wheel board you used in the intro messed with me. Great tour as always. Great to see you again. Happy New Year.

I have owned several Airstreams over the years. Currently I have an Airstream B190 4x4.
Hi Patrick, I have this trailer and have been unable to play DVD to TV via the HDMI port you say is connected (8:10)What am I doing wrong?
Its hard to determine what is wrong except for a bad HDMI cable.
This is one of my favorite airstreams but whoo at 58k this will remain a dream for the time being. Meanwhile, to add to my personal airstream fund, anybody here need a kidney? I've got one to spare? Hahahahaha

Thank you.
Patrick, is their a electric outlet by the bed for a cpap. ty
Yes.

The red switch is a refrigerator fan. it should be turned on (up) when the refrigerator is in use to help cool the rear compartment of the cabinet.
I’m so sold on Airstreams quality, I will never buy anything but! And of course I intend to get mine from Patrick , at Colonial Airstream.
Looking forward to it.
I have this trailer and love it.
Happy you do.
Question; why doesn't Airstream use the truma instant water heaters as opposed to storage type
Airstream uses the Truma on select models.
I'm sure I'm not the first to say this but, when did Ray Romano get into selling Airstream? He's doing a great job.
Ha ha
aren't the propane bottles VIN number specific and should fill the propane instead of exchange?
They are exchangeable.
Has anyone had any thoughts/luck on having an Airstream as an AirBNB rental?
I believe a few did.
Can you get this with with another color besides the shiny gray walls at the bathroom entrance?
It was available in model year 2015 and earlier in tan.
Since you mentioned no bumper and weight distribution, what do you recommend for bike racks with this trailer
I’ve seen a bike rack above the propane tanks
What are your thoughts?
Yes the A Frame over LP tank mount bike rack is the right one.
Wonder if you can get it with a regular oven?
This model is not available with a regular oven.
what are the thoughts around rear, center, front dinettes? same with bedroom?
There is not a right or wrong, there are advantages to all of them. I personally like the dinette on the awning side.
Has Airstream implemented the plastic composite sub floor that they have in Europe yet or is the subfloor still plywood?
Airstream uses 5/8" tongue and groove exposure 1 grade plywood flooring with exterior perimeters coated with an anti-wick substance. The exposure grade 1 plywood with water boiled proof type glue is known for its durability when exposed to weather, water and moisture for long periods of time without de-laminating.
