    Those drop down speech bars made me skip the video. Also you're going to quickly over the panels, not giving the product time to work. And the dangling cord, ouch.

    Brother should I need finishing pad? Or it’s enough if I use medium cut pad

    • @DocMackGarage
      @DocMackGarage  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there , you can use a finishing pad. Medium pad will do it, but if you use a finish pad you will get a bit more gloss. Please consider subscribing to my TH-cam Channel for free if you haven't already to show your support.

      After the final soft polishing can I apply ceramic coating? Thank you

    • @DocMackGarage
      @DocMackGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@duranopaulo Hi, generally if it is just polish without wax it would be fine , but this Menzerna has some added wax. It should be fine (try a bit in a small area to test), as the ceramic coating needs a surface to bond to. If it is slippery (wax), then it may not adhere to the paint as well as non waxed paint. I am going to post a video of me trying out a form of ceramic coating on this car within the next 2 weeks

    can the cord of the polisher scratch the vehicle?

    • @DocMackGarage
      @DocMackGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kenny, I had responded earlier but the response went missing. Yes if the wire picks up grit from the ground , and you let the wire touch the paint work, it can scratch the car. This is why I place the wire over my shoulder (described in the video). Please consider Subscribing if you haven't already. It is Free to Subscribe to my TH-cam Channel. I have lots of car videos.

    Is a Diminishing abrasive .. Every time you put a new dots of polish you start again... Take this in cosideration ... Priming every time you buff a new side

    • @DocMackGarage
      @DocMackGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi thanks for contributing to the comments , and I don't think there is a hard and fast rule to polishing. What I do is prime the pad with polish when it is dry, once I have done the first section, and I notice less product on the pad, I will add a few more dots. I only used medium cutting and finishing . I did the whole car in one go, if I had left it a day or so, I would have primed it again . Thanks for watching and please Subscribe.

    How many times you go over the whole car with medium pad

    • @DocMackGarage
      @DocMackGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, between 1 and 2 times. Really depends on the imperfections you have to remove . If your paint is not so good, then start with a coarse polishing pad, the medium, then fine. Please consider Subscribing to my channel if you haven't already.

      Hi Ken, Many thanks for your comments. Please consider Subscribing if you haven't already. You can try it by hand as well , I was using a dual action polisher , but you can get a palm polisher which is relatively cost friendly. The other thing you can try it with is an applicator pad .

    If you are going over the vehicle twice doesn’t that kind of take the point of a one step polish away.

    • @DocMackGarage
      @DocMackGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question, it is a question of steps vs passes. Steps is pad + polish, and pass is how many times you go over. Please consider subscribing to my TH-cam Channel for free if you haven't already.
