The sounds they make are cool. There's a lot of variation in the noises it's making, so there's probably a lot of different 'messages' in their vocalizations that we haven't figured out yet.
there are certain tamarins such as the cotton top tamarins with their own recognized grammatical patterns!!! they can even learn to recognize foreign grammatical patterns!
don't give the sweetie stuff like mountain Dew it's not good for them. they can't eat a lot of the stuff we do.. they survive on fruits and bugs in the wild.
They need sugar. I've been to south America, in the Airbnb I stayed that was in the middle of tropical forest, little monkeys like this would come daily to eat fruits, they're used to humans and eat stuff people give them
Tamarins do in fact drink sugary sap from trees in the wild, so sugary liquids are not entirely out of line with its natural diet. But Mountain Dew? No bro. Sorry, they definitely don't ingest caffeine, sodium, food coloring, etc.

This drink is full of other ingredients that are almost more chemical like compared to what they usually digest and that our human systems understand how to handle better than an animal's. I just don't think it's the healthiest for them, especially as wild animals.
Everybody is worried about a Tamarin drinking Mountain Dew and how it's so unhealthy. It isn't healthy for anyone, people freak if an animal drinks it, nobody says shit when a child does. People are more worried about the diets of their pets than they are worried about their own diets or the diets of their children.

What ( if any ) differences are there between the Tamarin monkeys and the Marmoset monkeys. I realize their appearance is different but I mean trainability, size, nervousness, bonding, tameness, etc.. I am really considering a pet monkey and as of right now it seems to be between the Marmoset and the Tamarin Monkey. I really appreciate any expertise you can share. Thank you and God bless.

But it's better for them to eat what they find naturally in their habitat instead of artificial food
