@PopsicleWonder And in case it's helpful, find Laurentius if you haven't already. A pyromancy flame is a fantastic tuck away option to keep in your primary hand because it scales off upgrades not stats, and weighs nothing! Or at least very little, it's been a minute since I've played through.
Black knights get toasted by parry and then backstab as they're getting up. Next time you find one try defeating them by only parry and/or backstabs, makes you a better player and prepares you for pvp Once it clicks, the black knights become nerds that you can swirly
