Ooh she definitely looks like an ice skater! The only thing I feel like would make it more of a crystal pony is adding the pearlescent paint to the white. I think that might be like the crystal ponies in the show
I've embraced the greys, but I'm in my mid 30s now so they're still fairly sparse, plus my hair is dark blonde so they mostly look like highlights from a distance. I wish I could add new hairs to the thinning areas though! 😅
I absolutely love how she turned out. The pastel colour you mentioned comes across in my brain as if she was wearing sheer fabric and like...yes, rarity would XD
16:25 Pony is relaxing and is getting a beauty treatment 😄🤭😊 The pony looks gorgeous! I love the lilac, the purple and the silver together with the crystals!💜💟🌌🎆
I love using pearlescent paint when I customize my pony figurines, it makes them look really pretty and shiny, I did that with a bunch of my mini pony figurines and they came out looking amazing, I absolutely love these types of videos!
First, sending everyone best wishes for the new year and I hope it brings goodness, kindness, and strength to all of us! ❤ I watch videos from another creator who uses the Fabri-tac glue specifically to make shiny mouth insides, as well as drips and strings of saliva on the teeth on some of his monster creations. He uses it for nothing else. 😂 Learning from others is how we grow! It never hurts to try new things and adopt techniques from others. ❤ My tip for other people looking to try customizing on a budget, perhaps those just starting or seeing if they enjoy it, is to remember that hair can be salvaged from thrift store dolls with decent hair, or dollar store/pound shop/etc and inexpensive dolls from mega stores like Walmart, etc. Moderately tangled hair can often be straightened with a hair iron on low. Make sure it is dry first! I bought a small straight and curling combo hair iron specifically to fix the hair on a few limited edition Build-A-Bear MLP plush. I haven't had the guts to do it yet, but I've seen plenty of videos that should help, including yours! ❤
Tinsel looks very original with less nylon 😍 once I cleaned g4 baby pony, it is very hard to take off this neck joint, it was literally glued in with body.
if you want to avoid messy water drips or potential mold, i would use a hair dryer!! it gives the same heat and stuff, without the mess :) it heats up the glue too so it comes off like a charm!!
Lighter purple was definitely the right choice in my opinion. It makes it look more like a body suit (think Britney Spears in Toxic) and it also reflects the opalescent paint better. If it were darker, it might run the risk of looking more like silk or leather and less sheer.
Love your videos very relaxing to watch. When you said bedazzle I though you said big a$$***** 😂😂🤦♀️ took me off guard for a second I'm like no way that what she said. Good thing I played it back again 😂
the moment the jumpsuit started coming together, i was reminded of the Super Trouper scene from the Mamma Mia! musical. definitely a disco pony in my eyes. she's lovely!
I actually LOVE the pastel color but maybe it would have looked nice if there was a gradient from the hooves and the neckline that was the brighter purple that moved to the pastel shade??? Love the crystal trimming here!
If you want to try a pony covered in crystals, please go for it. I think that would be so beautiful with holographic tinsel or iridescent tinsel for the mane and tail. I would love to see you create something like that.
Absolutely stunning, maybe it could be for Winter Wishday (Xmas). I've used nail polish on a few custom pony's myself....but that's when I was first starting out w/customs.
looks kinda like she has an Elvis outfit on :) so ace :) have you tried to restore one of the G1 outfits before ? if not would love to see a vid on that :)
Rarity is the perfect pony for this!!! Also, she’s my fav pony so double happy!!! Btw if we (as fans) want to send you something, what would be the best way to contact you? 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
instead of dunking the head in hot water I've seen people put it in a plastic bag first and then the hot water in case you don't like the mess, that way you get the same effect but less wet hair!
i love this one a lot!! definitely would have wanted to own this as a kid. she looks like she's about to pop on some ice skates! the hair is pretty incredible, and i kept thinking the streaks reminded me of a punk rock hairstyle. the crystals almost remind me of scales, like on a butterfly or a mermaid or something. i wonder if you could use them as that, or if using something like tiny sequins or big glitter would have a similar effect. as for the nail polish, i wonder if using a sealant would help with the longevity of it? i'm not sure if there's a clear acrylic paint, but there's definitely some pastel looks that could be really cool if there's a thin layer of white acrylic. not sure how to get around the brushstroke streaks that i'd expect would happen. what a lovely video!! thank you for sharing(and also for the subtitles, goodness. that's been so nice)
I have an old Rarity that I used while playing with a treadmill, the treadmill shaved off the tip of her horn and her ear tips, along with her hooves. Later on I painted her with acrylic paint lol… I have a couple ponies I did the treadmill thing to, I wish I didn’t
Hmm... I'm not sure how I feel about the tinsel hair! It's a different texture from nylon, acrylic, or natural hair and really is just... weird to me. I don't mind some as accents, but it feels very unnatural as the full hair! Still, the pony is as beautiful as all of your ponies - I really love her, my personal preferences for hair aside ;) She looks like she's dressed up for a fancy gala and I absolutely love it.
She's gorgeous! Did you put rhinestones all the way around the legs? If so, how did you do it? I have so much trouble trying to both paint and glue things to the inside of the legs, any tips would be welcome!
Hey MLP repair! Can I possibly get some advice on repairing my Skylanders? I love these toys and have since I was a little boy but a lot of them have marker marks on them and I can't wash them off I want to restore them to their former glory if you have any wisdom you could share I would love a response

Cool.
Or printed from clear 3D resin.
Rarity definitely looks like she's ready to win gold for skating! This is an outfit she would be proud of
Getting older would suck less if grays hairs grew out like that! I love the colors you chose and the finished pony. So stinkin' cute!!!
I've embraced the greys, but I'm in my mid 30s now so they're still fairly sparse, plus my hair is dark blonde so they mostly look like highlights from a distance. I wish I could add new hairs to the thinning areas though! 😅

agreed
Definitely getting "winter olympics figure skater" vibes from this custom. So glamorous and pretty!
I love her! She looks like a glam rock ice skater.
Rarity is the perfect pony to do this kind of custom with - she looks FABULOUS!
Rarity looks like she is competing in a ice skating contest! Gorgeous! Happy New Year.
0:01 poor Rarity would be glad to have her mane and tail back. Rarity looks great in that outfit!
16:25 Pony is relaxing and is getting a beauty treatment 😄🤭😊
The pony looks gorgeous! I love the lilac, the purple and the silver together with the crystals!💜💟🌌🎆
Love the Bruno ca-meow
I NEED to see a pony entirely decked out crystals!
This was so nice to watch. Maybe an all bedazzled pony would be great 😊
She’s so shiny 😍
She definitely looks like an ice skater or a dancer. Oh and I would love to see a pony entirely of crystals!
Great job on her! You did an excellent job she looks super beautiful and dazzling
I love using pearlescent paint when I customize my pony figurines, it makes them look really pretty and shiny, I did that with a bunch of my mini pony figurines and they came out looking amazing, I absolutely love these types of videos!
Disco ice skater fits the vibe of that hair and outfit combo so much 😂
The first thought I had when I saw the result was ABBA! It looks great xx
The fact I used to watch these when I was younger brings back memories ❤️
Your videos are so relaxing and amazing! I’d love to see you rehair/reroot a G1 Brush and Grow pony
First, sending everyone best wishes for the new year and I hope it brings goodness, kindness, and strength to all of us! ❤

Super cute! Also, I would love to see a pony covered in crystals if that's something you want to do!
The silver in her hair is a really nice touch!😊
For sure an Olympics ice skater, I think she turned out so pretty!
Beautiful ice skating pony for sure. I love the crystals! ❤
The entire crystal pony is a good idea✨🦄✨💜
Aww she turned out really nicely! I'd like to add my vote for to a pony covered in crystals please 💎
i love this custom!! please continue to do g4 ooaks and repairs :) (I also love voiceover videos like this one
Tinsel looks very original with less nylon 😍 once I cleaned g4 baby pony, it is very hard to take off this neck joint, it was literally glued in with body.
I love this design. She is so cute.
I always get so happy when I open TH-cam and you’ve posted a new pony video!
Happy New Year!! 🎊 Amazing mlp custom ooak as always! ❤
Hiciste un hermoso trabajo de brillos, fiesta y alegria. Me da felicidad. Tus uñas. Preciosas!😊
if you want to avoid messy water drips or potential mold, i would use a hair dryer!! it gives the same heat and stuff, without the mess :) it heats up the glue too so it comes off like a charm!!
Happy New Year! 🎉 I hope you had a happy and peaceful holiday season ❤ I think even Rarity herself couldn’t have made a more dazzling transformation!
I would love to see a pony covered in shimmer and crystals like the actual crystal ponies!

Really love your videos! 9:40, what we call them where I live is twist-ties or twisty-ties :)
She is beautiful! And very sparkly!!!🦄❤❤❤
Thank you so much :) :)
Once again, your customs blow me away
I was delighted to see a new video from you! Love the nails and excellent work as always 💅❤
I can imagine Rarity, as she ages and her hair starts turning silver, wearing something just like this.
in the last episode, when its shown she ages, she actually has a grey hair streak and wears a midnight blue cape/dress
It's absolutely beautiful New Years Pony
So pretty and sparkly.
Love your videos very relaxing to watch. When you said bedazzle I though you said big a$$***** 😂😂🤦♀️ took me off guard for a second I'm like no way that what she said. Good thing I played it back again 😂
Absolutely GLAMOROUS!!😍😍😍
the moment the jumpsuit started coming together, i was reminded of the Super Trouper scene from the Mamma Mia! musical. definitely a disco pony in my eyes. she's lovely!
This reminds me a bit of the jumpsuits Rarity made for Sapphire Shores way back in season 1.... I love it!
This is a very nice glow up. Lovely 😍
Sorry I’m so late to this video, I was sick. She’s beautiful and I would love to see more like her!
if you pour boiling water over princess mold ponies (like celestia) their horns get floppy and their wings get all jiggly. it's disturbing 😭
slime girl custom 😭
I actually LOVE the pastel color but maybe it would have looked nice if there was a gradient from the hooves and the neckline that was the brighter purple that moved to the pastel shade??? Love the crystal trimming here!
I've seen soft wax pencils for picking up and placing rhinestones for nail art, and I wonder if this would be easier to use than the tweezers.
If Rarity doesn't have crystals, is she even Rarity??? Lol, she has always been my favorite pony. XD
Ermahgerd! So gorgeous!
You should do an all crystal pony.
looks kinda like she has an Elvis outfit on :) so ace :) have you tried to restore one of the G1 outfits before ? if not would love to see a vid on that :)
i love this custom
I love watching these, reminds me of when I used to fix up mine. Thank you for the lovely reminder s xxx

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️

So cute! She definitely is in the Olympics for ice skating. LOL!
I felt like glitter could be amazing here too for transition... especially holographic.
I'm glad the boiling water technique helped!
She's so beautiful 😍 🤩 😊❤❤❤
I would LOVE an all crystal pony ❤😱
She looks beautiful! Your being to hard on yourself. She reminds me of something that Elton John would wear. 😊
i love this one a lot!! definitely would have wanted to own this as a kid. she looks like she's about to pop on some ice skates! the hair is pretty incredible, and i kept thinking the streaks reminded me of a punk rock hairstyle.

I'm not a mlp fan but your videos make me want one so badly

NGL, RARITY WOULD BE GOOD AT ICE SKATING.
She is gorgerouse ❤❤
Thank you for this video! 🙂💐
Full crystal pony please! 🤩

Where did you get that needle to insert the hair?or can I use a regular needle?
Super cute 😍
I actually really like the pastel lavender colour
She's giving Yuri on Ice for sure. Wonderful!
You should totally do a pony all with crystals
You really are good at this. I'm wondering if you have any pony seahorses they were my fav!
Awesome
If you can I would suggest medical forceps for removing the hair, they lock and really grip on so you can pull the hair and glue out.
LOOOVE the hair
AWESOME CAN YOU PLEASE NEXT HITCH FROM MLP NEW GENERATION PLEASE
is there a reason you never repair a G3 pony?don't you like them or something? or just a coincidence?
Funny thing, i have a Rarity that looks almost exactly like this, except she's absolutely MASSIVE (she's bigger than my head)
Winter princess Rarity

I liked and shared this video 📹 out your welcome Retro Geek Crafts Projects Happy New Year.
prince bruno has many demands X''D
Sooooooo cute
Would you do 80's Freddy Fazbear as ponies or Jem and the Holograms as ponies?
So i just checked the other restorations and...
There is a problem here
THERE'S NO FIREFLY!
You gotta do them soon
a w e s o m e .
Hi😊
It kinda remind me to taylor Swift
